Well that’s again completely over the top. I must have missed all these posts were the responses were embarrassing.I hate it when anyone puts up an opinion and everyone goes full Helen Lovejoy about it. It's embarrassing that people can't handle anything outside their own opinions.
I'm probably going to melt lots of times this year but that shouldn't be anything to do with other people saying shit on the forum.
It’s a huge loss with Steele out. Like others have said he is watched so others get off the chain. Whoever replaces him will have less respect from the opposition. Sinclair might get similar respect but then you lose his run off half back.Having three genuine mids takes pressure off others. Carlton look a much better side with the load shared around. We are in the best position to wear it in years but it's going to hurt. We probably need to rejig a bit with perhaps Sincs on ball but we have a bit of depth with Clark coming back soon.
Spot on.I hate it when anyone puts up an opinion and everyone goes full Helen Lovejoy about it. It's embarrassing that people can't handle anything outside their own opinions.

I reckon Howard started the seasons sub par but his last two games have been outstanding. He was a rock against Melbourne. One thing I will agree on is Howard is one of only a few players that looks like they've gone backwards this year. Not much, but a little. Probably a sign that everyone around has gone up and he hasn't needed to do as much. Steele also gone a little backwards, but Crouch, Ross, Gresh etc have all gone up significantly. So has he gone backwards, or is everyone around him chipping in more now?
Doogs makes me nervous sometimes too. But he's not close to getting dropped.
I don’t mind the idea of bringing in another defender to put sincs in the middle full time. But that is a bit of robbing Peter to pay Paul. It’s a huge loss with Steele out. Like others have said he is watched so others get off the chain. Whoever replaces him will have less respect from the opposition. Sinclair might get similar respect but then you lose his run off half back.
Again I will point out the person is not new. They said that themselvesI agree. Best to not scare off new posters. I remember when I first joined it took a while to get the rhythm and tone of the forum. Hard to tell who's taking the piss and who's genuinely got the salt on that day.
The only way Howard doesn't play is through injury and/or suspension. Not saying drop key defenders, am saying Howard makes me very nervous and I think it's a matter of time he'll need to be dropped. Who knows, could be wildly wrong, but that's my read.
OUTSIDE of the Howard thing, we're going very well this year! The advancements are there to see. There's been big changes between the ears it seems, not to mention numerous players taking another step, coaching seems to cohesive and game-day not bad either, we're as fit as we've looked for ages and for the first time in a while, our midfield is going OK!
Clark/Geary currently depth, first year players showing tremendous signs, a new selfless attitude - etc it's been discussed!
It's about as spot-on as you saying Windhager is nervous with ball-in-hand. There's having an opinion, then there's being wrong.Spot on.
Howard of course looks out of sorts when teams are blasting relentlessly at the goals , he is given the toughest job every week and yes he does make mistakes but if we didn't have him we would of lost a lot more than we won.One thing I will agree on is Howard is one of only a few players that looks like they've gone backwards this year. Not much, but a little. Probably a sign that everyone around has gone up and he hasn't needed to do as much. Steele also gone a little backwards, but Crouch, Ross, Gresh etc have all gone up significantly. So has he gone backwards, or is everyone around him chipping in more now?

One person states a strong opinion. Ten plus others disagree and say so. I don't think weight of numbers is bullying - its just many people with an opposing view. Happens on here all the time.So that you don't bully people off the forum. They might be a troll but if not a bunch of keyboard heroes are jumping down their neck over an opinion. If someone has a point of view that isn't consensus they get piled on.
And then there others who argue for the sake of it. You are wrong. Windhanger is nervous as is every other player. It's about as spot-on as you saying Windhager is nervous with ball-in-hand. There's having an opinion, then there's being wrong.
It’s a ridiculous argument in this instance. Surely if you disagree you can post or are we only going to have a rule where once one person disagrees then all others who disagree can’t say anything. As for being a new poster they said they weren’t also maybe others do it but when I reply I don’t go to the post count so id have no idea if they were new old young small smart dumb black white I just comment on their post and if can use stats to make another fiction then that’s even better. One person states a strong opinion. Ten plus others disagree and say so. I don't think weight of numbers is bullying - its just many people with an opposing view. Happens on here all the time.
And, as always, if someone feels they are being bullied they can approach a mod or just mute the so-called bully.
Why? They have no substance to their argument, tell people to wake up, and when presented with the facts that Doogs was beaten once in the four goals doubles down with 'he is hopeless'.They have a low post count, I'd probably lay off them a bit due to that but that's just me. If you want the same bunch of 10 old men sitting around the bar shaking your fists at the outside world scare people away by all means.
Sinclair is having a sensational season and was just everywhere again on Saturday night. Would hate to lose what he is giving us so far. As such, maybe its time for Owens to get another couple of games. Would hate to drop Windy though, don't mind having both in and maybe Nas has to wait another week or two. It’s a huge loss with Steele out. Like others have said he is watched so others get off the chain. Whoever replaces him will have less respect from the opposition. Sinclair might get similar respect but then you lose his run off half back.
Yep , i was on his wagon big time a few years back but to me has not progressed much at all and is very messy by foot , im not sure we will see a lot of him at senior level , too many have more to offer IMOI'd disagree with that and think it's one of the main reasons why he isnt in this team.
Not sure anything nasty was said. Just the fact that most people disagreed and some even backed it up with evidence. So that you don't bully people off the forum. They might be a troll but if not a bunch of keyboard heroes are jumping down their neck over an opinion. If someone has a point of view that isn't consensus they get piled on.
nevermind play onAgain I will point out the person is not new. They said that themselves
I'd imagine most new players would be nervous when they got the ball. He doesn't it show it though.I'm sure I read in the past couple of days that Windy said he was nervous when he got the ball. If so, it's perfectly understandable. If so, it means he's playing on a fair bit of instinct by not being sure about his positioning, when to attack etc and what to do when he got it. Again, if so, the only remedy is to play him for consecutive games, encourage him to keep playing to his instincts and accept the inevitable mistakes. He really looks like an absolute gem. He won a fair bit of ball through very quick, clean hands, kicked to release players in the clear and handballed out of congestion.
I'd definitely keep him in, and Sharman, and then there is the very hard choice between The Messiah or Owens, either would be good. Perhaps to release Sincs we might reshuffle the backline to bring Highmore in although that might upset our defensive structure too much.
It's also time I apologised to Jack Billings. Like many of you I see the sheer talent and the seeming "lack of application." I accept now that his personality and style makes him look like he's taking things easier than the effort he gives. One Sat it was very clear, once again, that he is a very clever player. His ability to read the play and get into the right position made our ball movement much easier. I thought his game, especially the second half, was instrumental to our game plan. Two better shots for goal would have had us trying to give him votes. I agree with many previous posters who have said that JB will play better in a much better team. I think we've seen, I bloody hope we've seen, a sign of that!!
Can’t have all 3 at once. Well like you I don’t think they should. Maybe Adelaide here but not over there.Sinclair is having a sensational season and was just everywhere again on Saturday night. Would hate to lose what he is giving us so far. As such, maybe its time for Owens to get another couple of games. Would hate to drop Windy though, don't mind having both in and maybe Nas has to wait another week or two.
I know they're all different players, but not sure I want all three new kids in at once.
Windhager showed how good he was on Saturday , amazing how a kid in his first year can be so productive knowing his past couple seasons have been hampered by injury. And then there others who argue for the sake of it. You are wrong. Windhanger is nervous as is every other player.
the heart says play all 3 but the brain says the match for that is the week after vs NorthCan’t have all 3 at once. Well like you I don’t think they should. Maybe Adelaide here but not over there.
