I would not have suspended Rioli and I would not suspend this guy either but I played in a different age. In the sensitive new age that we live in any high contact is scrutinised. I am not sure what the Melbourne player was supposed to do in the circumstances but other players have been pinged for similar incidents so I think the Melbourne player is in trouble.

How good was Butters? 30+ ratings points is elite. Means very few mistakes. That set shot in the last quarter were he went the around the corner kick and fluffed it might have been the only real bad clanger, given he did 4 and another was for a free against.
