McKenzie using the right foot to open up the ground and pitch one out in front of Shevlin for a goal. Wasn't pinpoint accurate, but technically sound so that'd be huge if she keeps building her confidence and does it more.

Definite structure issues for the hawks. Pushing way too far up the ground, but as a result the moment Richmond string more than 2 possessions together it is going inside 50 easily.

Kicking woes have continued. Gubston has been great for forward craft, but the more he's worked with our players, the worse our goal kicking has become

With a mil on the line and a home qualifying final was expecting more from hawks
This definitely isn't plan a.
Bodey is playing forward despite playing the majority if the season on the wing (fitness?)

Wales has been playing forward of centre despite being the deterant by dropping back to force opponents to slow down (slowing them down definitely helps our forward pressure)

Players overcommitting forward of the ball rather than sitting back to allow the overlap.

still probably should be a couple of goals up after some poor misses

Well I'm not sure how much of a choke it'd be with the players they have out. Arguably self-inflicted pain if they were too cautious resting Dowrick.

Can't help but notice the stands on the far side of the ground, which had been up all season, have now been taken down. Maybe they don't want to host a final!

Lamb getting that free kick at the end was classic crowd-influenced umpiring lol.

But a 1-on-3 win by Houghton followed by a pure set shot conversion... all class. Not to mention the clean gather which set up Saint earlier in the quarter.

The Giants were robbed, should have been holding the ball not a free for Port for a sling tackle.

Totally agree, I thought the Umpires were favouring North all game. :)

A flukish Pugh mark in the middle of the ground gets the purple people going and injects some life into the contest as Antonio then dribbles one thrugh.
Don't believe me? See for yourself:

But if there's only one piece of footage you check out for the weekend, let it be that which sums up everything great and bad about AFLW:

I may be biased, but the one piece of footage I'm going to watch as often as I can this week was Taylah Gatt's goal. To start the play deep in her own defensive 50, then have a second involvement around halfway and then to kick the goal while two opponents were tackling her 20 metres out and on a tight angle was one of the best individual moments I've seen on an AFLW field. Probably also sums up what is good and bad about the AFLW, the good being Gatt and the bad being the GC players letting a bouncing ball travel 20 metres without getting a fingernail on it.

Not the most commanding performance by the Dockers, like previous matches at Fremantle Oval this year. No real final quarter burst with the wind at their back, despite what one might expect.

Understandable with so little to play for. But it makes it harder to tip them next week as opposed to if they had looked really sharp and set the world on fire today.
