Round 10 Trades

Attached is my team BEFORE trades. 17 trades - $669,600 bank.
Below is my possible trade route for this week.

Obviously, bringing in the 2 top players in the comp is a big plus to my team.
However, to accommodate that i'm bringing in a rookie a week early.
ALSO leaving myself with only 8.6k spare.

Below trade will leave me with Wines and Polec M7/8 and needing 1 back upgrade and 2 fwds to finish my team from 14 trades.

Thoughts?

You could do Acres/Robertson > Hartung
That would bring you to 17 on field.

Agreed!! I highly doubt anyone will say NOT to do those trades.

Always just happy for any input or alternative suggestions so I don't blow my entire bank.
But again, entire bank for 2 best players in the comp... pretty much no brainer.

Pyke > Goldstein
Leaves me with $900...

I think they look pretty good.
Would've traded Mitchell > Swallow a few weeks ago though.

If wanting to add a third trade (depending on your future trade plan) you could go a week early on Bews. Laidler > Bews.

I have just under $400k in the bank which is nice, and 24 trades. So room to make some improvements

So essentially you sideways traded Roughead > Boomer... I would hold Roughy, Boomer will score 70 tonight and you'll be wishing you did it..try to upgrade a rookie instead if you can

First year taking SC seriously and still haven't learnt all the "tricks of the trade", so to speak...

Show your whole team, plus trades left & $$.

If you did those trades that would give you exactly 18 on the field right? obviously being able to field a full 18 would be great but have you considered trading crouch instead of taylor? I know it would only leave you with 17 this week but long term it might set your team up better as taylor has more cash to make and crouch is likely to lose money this week particularly if he gets the subs vest again

Yeah but my other rookies still got cash to make..... Tyson, polec, Taylor, Kelly

I'd upgrade Kelly to a premo instead if you can.. cop 17 playing, think of long term

North are head **** for tipping this year. Their best is as good as any team in the league, but have also been bottom 4 standard in other games. Turns me off most of their players. Dal's been very consistent, though.

Tell me about it. Truth be told though, as a supporter I'd rather have a 5-3 where we beat Port/Freo/Sydney than one where we lost those 3 and won all the rest. The losses have been truly shiteful tho.

For SC, Petrie looks cooked, Goldstein a possible bargain fallen premo at some point, and Dal not a bad POD. Swallow should also drop in price as he eases back into form and might be good value at some point.

Speaking of fallen premos, what are your thoughts on Andrew Walker for the rest of the year? Haven't seen much of Carlton.

Boomer will score well over 100 tonight. Probably 130ish.

You should probably get 2 playing prems in the mid
So something like

Lmac > Bews = 168k
Dunstan + Crouch = 602k

400 + 602 + 168 = 1172 = 2 playing mid prems your liking

By leaving Roughy in I only have 111k which only affords me a mid for 445 by upgrading Kelly. (Want to leave polec for next week)
