Yeah, seen those whispers, too, would be a godsend if Moore was a late replacement. Thought he had acquitted himself well and was slightly unlucky, but am obviously biased. Only real knock I could see was the drop off in tackles, his run and usage etc: were all decent/

I like him. Was a bit surprised Glass held his spot instead, but our midfield is very thin and Clarko is experimenting with Glass in there. I’m heading to Launy tomorrow and will watch Glass closely, as I haven’t really been too excited by him yet.

On a supercoach level I hope Moore is a late in. On a Hawks level I hope it’s not at Lewis’s expense!

Thinking of going Scrimshaw/Duursma to Whitfield and Hayes/Setterfield to either Young or Coleman-Jones. Need some of my bench players to get back into the team.

Wow well done getting Bailey Smith good rookie.
I don't think many got on him .

I'd have to cull Lockhart or Stack to do Moore > Hurn. Parker, Nutting (loophole 0, who will move to be D8 if i get Boak instead of Hurn), Setters and Young would be in my forwards. If i get Boak, i complete my forwardline and can get rid of Parker instead of Lockhart/Stack. I do want Hurn a lot but i think getting Boak now is slightly better for my structure even if he averages say 10 less than Hurn.

That means that im honestly leaning slightly towards Boak because of my structure and the fact that i only need to start 1 forward rookie for Danger (Young/Setters) but earlier this week i was set on Hurn so i may well change my mind again! I can get Boak later, same probably cant be said for Hurn. Ahhh this is giving me a headache!
Fair enough mate, with Setterfield out it has probably made your mind up for you. Best of luck, hopefully they work out well for you

Due to carnage....

Drew to Boak....

Instead of Williams to Whittfield... I'm hoping Whitfield's price doesn't change... BE of 119 so hoping he stays around the mark.. Williams obviously won't change so next week I can do this trade*

*Until I have to put out spotfires elsewhere so I will probably miss this boat again next week as well

Thanks mate. Yeah Setters out has all but confirmed that im grabbing Boak. That means i should be able to keep Stack as cover up until his bye. 3 backline rookies on field is not ideal but apart from that i only have 1 rookie left in my 22, which is Walsh. I'm going to upgrade Lockhart to Sicily/Blakely after round 12 and then work on getting Hore/Duursma off my field after that.

Any idea who to trade in out of Sheil or Shuey
Ideally, neither. If you’re that strapped for cash, consider bringing in a FWD or DEF DPP who is likely to be top 10 in their respective position (or swing an existing DPP into your midfield and bring in a FWD or DEF premo who doesn’t have DPP).

If you absolutely must pick one, go Shiel.

Solid logic, definitely helps to plan ahead and have multiple options to get your side upgraded going forward.

Still no idea what I am going to do this week let alone next, still stuck and can't decide

Unless I’m chasing points in my main cash league.
No changes. Only got danger setterfield and drew as main non playing options.

20K
Thinking Collins and Duursma, or would you play Duursma one more week.
I have backup now in Baby John.
Don't have enough $ to go to any super premiums.
Thinking players like Marshall, Houli. Feeling stuck.

I was just short to trade Setterfield/Ross > Young.

I could just not make any trades and field all my rookies.

Any other alternatives?

Thanks for your input mate. Sometimes there are so many potential options but none of them seem right. In that case you might need to compromise a little and cut a rookie early or even downgrade to a rookie early. Then again sometimes its best to show restraint and keep your trades for a rainy day. Very hard to know which will be the most beneficial.

Cheers. It was more good fortune than good planning. He was the 11th mid chosen purely because I trusted him more than Atkins, Gibbons, etc.

Missing out on the Richmond trio is hurting me most right now though. If I’d have had Stack and Baker I wouldn’t be in this situation this week. You can’t win them all though.

b. Walsh>Neale
c. O'Brien>Lloyd

Thoughts?

Think I’ve landed on option 2. Need Neale at some stage, and no time like the present.

Will wait a week on O’Brien, so I can see if Fort is worth the trade. Would have to pass on him regardless if I traded O’Brien this week.

I know I’ll likely lose points by moving on Walsh now, however I’m in it for league wins, and think I can play this strategy without impacting my chances.

Next week will be O’Brien>Fort, then in a month or so Fort out to a rookie via
Bines.

I was settled on Young all week, but Marsh has the best JS if any rookie available. Warm bodies are vital over the byes.
It gives me another look at Young, but means I have to play s**tbrick Parker again.
I went marsh aswell, big body, showed he can play at the level, saints have a few backs out for awhile. Didn’t he play midfield the last year or two aswell?

I didn't get stack either yep regret not getting him.
Not Ross tho didn't rate him.

Baker went from scoring 30s last year to 80s this year .

Not as a mid, more of a key defender, but with the saints backline decimated I can’t see too many others coming in.

Good week to do no trades. I have just enough rooks to cover outs despite their crappiness.

The carnage will be universal, and as such its an excellent opportunity to save 2 vital trades for the byes, with no one screaming out as a must have buy this week.

Happy to drop 1or2 thousand spots to keep the 2 trades.
