Bit early on Scott but Hall is projected to go up more so no loss, also with Hall he could be a straight swap or small cost to Danger if the pick goes south and have spare trades so risk is mitigated somewhat.

Decision made: Bowes -> Docherty, Mansell -> Laird, via DPP magic and in comes RCD.

This is my thoughts too. We have a decent run of games coming up against weaker rucks also (Blues, Suns, Bye, Swans, Bombers, Giants).

Powell > Steele and Mansell > Jones mainly to avoid donut but also to see off that spud will have tight anus waiting for Murphy/Jones/Highmore to moo enough to cull

Plans have been for a double upgrade, however if Lachie Jones is selected to play, I think I'll have to trade Kosi to him, as not many other Defenders coming through...

If Jones is not playing, then I'm all ears for trade suggestions. A couple I've thought about:

Option 1:
Bergman>Heeney
Powell>Super Premo

Option 2:
Bergman>Hall
Powell>Boak/Jelly/Telly/Other

Exact same position. Quite disappointed actually that Jones is straight in. Really would have liked it to be next week so I can enjoy the double upgrade this week (Dusty and Daniel also).

I looked at my team with the safe downgrade option and the two extra premos options and I just can't look past the sexiness of a full premo backline (even if Jones is an incredible specimen himself). I figure if another good DEF rookie never appears, at least I'm stuck with a rookie with good job security in Kosi anyway.

Powell to Lloyd (via Sharp to M11)

Still 6 rookies left on field with 16 trades left, but I think decent cash gen happening.

You've made the right call. Get the lines completed asap, if it was for D6 I'd say Jones but for D7 stick with Kosi.

Plus later in the year he will still be a good 200k downgrade.

Powell has higher BE, more cash to lose, but better JS, better scoring potential through the byes.
Bergman lower BE, less likely to lose cash, but dropped, may have peaked?

Is LJones a must have? Planning on Powell > Laird and Warner > Hall.
Laird will act as a pseudo D7 if coverage was required in my backline using Sharps dpp (if that makes sense).

So after team news I’m a bit stuck, I’m thinking of going Bergman out via macrae forward via laird to mids and Jones in to loop Rowe and waterman and Powell to one of Lyons/Steele/jelly. Team looks like this if I did that thoughts Kent’s
