Gold Coast vs Hawthorn to proceed, at Metricon, pending broadcasters being able to set up in time.

Who would have thought Tom Morris would go early, provide the wrong information, and then be proven wrong. Unheard of.

More worrying is the fact that many other news organisations repeated his crap, despite the official AFL statement:

“The AFL has informed both clubs the match will be moved from the NT with contingencies being worked through on the possibility of having the game played at another venue.
However, should that not be the case, both the Suns and Hawks will have their planned bye moved from round 12 to 11”

Not a bad idea, but just an extra 2 yrs after that would get you a MOI (Masters of Incompetence) and you apply to be a Victorian Govt minister.

I dont blame the govt, the guy from SA could have gone to Perth/Bris/Syd, just unlucky he was contagious and came to Melb.

Everyone is stacked with Dees and Dogs players.

And if they have a bye this week then they are available for all three bye rounds (means I am picking up Bont instead of Touk, juicy).

Far from the worst thing.

Will come down tonight.
Happy for it to be unpinned if it’s giving people the shits Jisk - I understand it’s pretty long and pushes everything else down the page.

For those that want to read the preview - it’s now part of the OP and many thanks to Uncle for adding it in

Agreed hey WaynesWorld19
can we have Super Coach talk and puppies left and and all the other crappola binned please kenty. Cheers in advance

I fully get the commercial agreements surrounding TV coverage, but if they had a choice of no crowds this weekend, or no football this week and 50% crowds next week, which would they take? It's nuts to me. We are nearing the middle of the season. Just give everyone the bye this week and on with the show next week. The comp stopped for 10 weeks last year. It wasn't forced to continue just because of commercial agreements. 1 week is nothing in the scheme of things.
