Super proud of the team, down Checkers and Cox in the last, with Pendles only having one arm, they did very well under trying circumstances. Have to get better, yes. But geez, even the Switkowski throw your head back and get a high for a regulation tackle free kick was absolute horseshit. I think we were robbed.

But lucky to get the 2 points against the bombers, unlucky to get the two points here. Things even up.

Reckon we may be farked for a while though. Checkers hammy again, Cox and probably Pendles out too. They are bloody piling up now.

Brilliant games Naicos, Cameron, Lipinski, Harrison and Richards.

Well we did Choke in Last Qtr

I thought it was just pretty standard on how we go about things. Freo really got a roll on from that free in front of goal and sometimes that's hard to stop. Luckily we did.

I can't see how it's time-wasting when the umpire has already blown time off.
Apart from that, I know of no other rule it could be. There's no dissent.
If he claimed it was time-wasting, he should lose his position on the panel.
Umpires inserting themselves into the game in that way is completely wrong.
It wasn't a free. The ump made it up. The AFL, however, will try and say it was time wasting.

6 players under 10 games.
3 of those under 5 games.
Let’s remember, we get routinely smashed in the VFL.

There are no excuses.
However, reasons for not winning:
1) losing the best KF on the ground, Mihocek. Losing Cox (another target), didn’t help.
2) too many inexperienced players. A couple played that were WAY off it.
3) players that we expect far better of , getting games when not deserving and not producing what we recruited for (everybody knows who).

Ginni wouldn’t be getting a spot in this side.

He barely was last year, Harrison and Richards have gone past him.
Boy if you think ginni wouldn't be getting a game ahead of schultz atm I don't know what to tell you.

I reckon the umpires were worded up during the week about our clock management. The free at the end, combined with the two fifties for not returning the ball fast enough reeked of an agenda. You see this overcorrection bullshit all the time from the umpires. Outside of those, I thought the game was reasonably officiated, but obviously those decisions are influential enough.

In the end, we still should’ve executed, but that was a bewildering decision.

Onwards to next week, percentage important again so we need to start putting sides to the sword and not giving them opportunities.

I’ve never yelled at the TV that much, but the commentary tonight was utterly deplorable, I’ve never gotten that annoyed and some of the utter crap they were spewing
Luke Hodge shouldn’t be allowed to commentate Collingwood games. Just infuriating to listen to.

If it was between Ginni and Schultz this season I’d be staggered if Schultz was getting games ahead of Ginni

Agree. There's an argument that we didn't need Schultz, but none that we needed to keep Ginnivan.

We're well stocked for small forwards, but Elliott won't be around too much longer, so Schultz made sense. Richards and Harrison look very good at the moment, but small forward is one of the toughest positions to play consistently. Hill was possibly worse than Schultz tonight, had some moments that cost us in the last as well.
