Langford, Polec and Fasolo all possibly on the chopping block. Big Faz you tease....
Unsure what Faz B/E will be but next 2 games are the saints and the dees before the Hawks game might be worth keeping.Thought he looked ok once moved forward.

How much will Langford be next week 308k prob let him play V GWS before trading.
I'll probably hold him until Mitchell comes back and drops to 420ish and then sideways

Yeah, I'll have to have a look at what I want to do next week. Langford is probably the one I want to turf, but there really are no downgrade options in defense (and I've only got 2k banked). Fasolo -> Shenton would be pretty tempting.

Ok so after alot of thinking and downing quite a few Changs (beers) tonight I think I am set on these trades for next week -

Langford > Bews
Langdon > Bartel

Backlne will be complete -

McVeigh, Hibberd, Bartel, Simpson, Swallow, Enight (Gardiner, Bews)

Plan is to sideways trade Enright to Mitchell once he comes back from injury.

Other options I have thought of are -

Langford > Bews
Acres > Shenton

I'm starting to think that maybe Shenton isn't a must have though and maybe its just better getting another premo in ASAP in Bartel.

My midfield bench will be Hartung and Acres. Is a bit meh but what can you do?

Once I go Langford > Bews I'll have roughly about $260,000 in the kitty (have $76,500 at the moment) so after that trade I then go Langdon > Bartel that should leave me with roughly $130,000 to go towards my last forward upgrade the week after Ambrose > Spuddy/NRoo.

What's everyone think about my trade ideas? ;)

Yep I'm also thinking about bypassing Shenton but will have to wait until midweek until I sort it all out...

More than likely I'll pass on Shenton. Claye Beams only $28k more and will be on the bubble in two weeks. Yes it's an injury risk, but I have little doubt he'll score better than Shenton if he can stay on the park.

Next week for me: Polec- Buddy and probably Langdon- Bartel.

Suckling>Hanley is not an upgrade since Suckling is averaging 85 & Hanley is averaging 84

Jaensch, I don't know much about him other than he was a fringe player last year who has been gifted a SC friendly role this year. If you think he can continue averaging 100 by all means go for it, as his price is rock bottom if he can maintain a 100 average for the rest of the year.

Yeah like the Bews option as a downgrade,
Langford > Bews 170K, leaves me with Bews and Gardiner on BACKS bench,
Crouch > C Beams 90K, leaves me with Shenton and C Beams on MIDS bench,
then the following week,
J LLoyd > SJ nice and cheap super premo,
S Lloyd > Rookie Fwd Bench, Honeychuch maybe?

What is everyone doing with Langdon? Looked like a keeper last round but not too sure now. Think I might keep him and trade him to Mitchell when Mitchell drops in prices upon his return.

Langdon becomes Bartel for me this week. Young player can't be expected to keep up that level all year. Could drop back to $300k if he continued to score like that for the rest of the year. Should be $410k at the end of this round. The time to cull is now IMO.

Not quite. Averaging 82 with a B/E of 30 a big score next week and that B/E is back in the negative.

Everyone is so fickle. One bad score and he's back to being done? Last week people were saying he's a keeper. He still has a low BE, so he gets one more week in my team at least.

People say all kinds of silly crap on here to justify the trades they want to make. :rainbow:

Well that changes it completely. Saw a post last night suggesting his BE next week was 90, but if it's only 30 then completely agree, he stays for the time being.

playing around with the tooserious calculator i get his b/e as closer to 75
still, cant see him dropping in value too much over the next couple of weeks and i have other problems that need fixing first.
happy to take a wait and see approach...it paid off with Tyson

Lloyd>Cameron and Langford>Swallow or Langford>Hanley and hold a trade?

77ish according to TooSerious, but I'm with you, not trading him due to one bad week.
