77ish according to TooSerious, but I'm with you, not trading him due to one bad week.
FWIW I didn't think Langdon played badly at all. It was a really tough game, finals like. Apart from the top 3-4 contributors from both sides, plenty of other very good players from both teams scored poorly as well. Not a lot of defenders, premo's included have scored 111 or higher 3 times this year. He can't tonne up every week, not even the super-premo Defs do that.

Does anyone have an accurate new B/E for Langford?

Anything over 85 for a defender is a pretty solid score and they are just as prone to stinkers as forwards. Unlike players in other positions they don't usually have many opportunities to inflate their scores with score assists or goals at critical moments.

This ^ and even attacking type HB's who usually rack up a heap of possies have to make locking down their direct opponent a priority now and then, even at the expense of their SC scores. This applies to pretty much all SC relevant defenders.

Fasolo > Cameron
Taylor > Selwood

If McEvoy is out that stuffs up my plans and may have to go Higgins to Dixon then into ruck for Thurlow.

Higgins > Parker
Langford > Jaensch

Not sure about the other trade yet but it will most likely be an upgrade in the mids. Got 500k in the kitty :thumbsu:

I have to cull either Langford, Landgon or Laidler this week, who should it be?

Langdon will net me the most cash
Laidler has the wost avg and money making is done
Landford has a game against GWS and could have another price rise in him

and it feels sideways ish, and I'll get hm after his first price rise, but docherty seems a great get going forward. Should avg 80+ at least with the potential of going bigger and will be under 350k

Laidler by far.

Laidler without a doubt..

Does anyone think there is any value in having both R Gray and Wingard in the same forward line? I have Gray at the moment but thinking of bringing in Wingard to complete my forward line at F6.

I know a lot has been said on here about his role changing from last year however I think there is value in having both so if one gets more signifcant midfield time (or kicks 3 or 4 goals) than the other on any given week I have both covered and probably averaging 200-215 per week having both in the side.

My Current Forward Line:

Dangerfield-Gray-Harvey-Dalhaus-Martin-JKH (Cameron-Ambrose)

Otherwise suggestions on a better choice for $450K would be appreciated. FWIW I won't be considering any KPP's although I was mighty tempted on NRoo...

Thanks in advance, H.W

Ok so after alot of thinking and downing quite a few Changs (beers) tonight I think I am set on these trades for next week -

Langford > Bews
Langdon > Bartel

Backlne will be complete -

McVeigh, Hibberd, Bartel, Simpson, Swallow, Enight (Gardiner, Bews)

Plan is to sideways trade Enright to Mitchell once he comes back from injury.

Other options I have thought of are -

Langford > Bews
Acres > Shenton

I'm starting to think that maybe Shenton isn't a must have though and maybe its just better getting another premo in ASAP in Bartel.

My midfield bench will be Hartung and Acres. Is a bit meh but what can you do?

Once I go Langford > Bews I'll have roughly about $260,000 in the kitty (have $76,500 at the moment) so after that trade I then go Langdon > Bartel that should leave me with roughly $130,000 to go towards my last forward upgrade the week after Ambrose > Spuddy/NRoo.

What's everyone think about my trade ideas? ;)

Just my two bobs worth JM, but I would consider waiting a week with Bartel.

I'll guarantee you Longmire won't let him sit on the half back line unattended and rack up 30 odd touches, last year he put a hard tag on in both games for 70(SCG) and 88(SS).

Don't get me wrong, he is a must have in your back 6 and I will get in myself ASAP but I'd back in the two Langs to moo one last time. Personally I'd probably hang onto Langford as your D7 too, I'm not sure Gardiner and Bews will still be getting games at the pointy end of the year.

Now their bye is out of the way go for it. Nice forward line BTW.

However if you had an extra 60-70k I would get Luke Parker in a heartbeat.

The words 'Luke Parker' make me want to break stuff lol. I chose tMitch instead (swapped them back and forth several times) based on pre-season flat track bullying and the rest is history...

playing around with the tooserious calculator i get his b/e as closer to 75
still, cant see him dropping in value too much over the next couple of weeks and i have other problems that need fixing first.
happy to take a wait and see approach...it paid off with Tyson

I thought the same thing with Kelly this week. Hang on one more week with a mid 50's breakeven and other areas to attend to.

Cue the sub vest and an injury the moment he walked on the ground. 25k out the door.

Having said that ill be holding Langdon one more week, and trading Kelly to Bews, bringing Langdon into the mids and Lloyd to Shenton.

Following week with a bit of luck it will be Langdon to Pendles and Langford to Hanley. Will be right on the borderline with cash so hoping for no sub vests for the two Langs. Not holding my breathe though considering my luck with previous rookies i needed just one more week out of. Looking at you JKH, Kelly and LLoyd!
