Thought i'd get it up and running. Never too early to look ahead!

Don't think i'll be doing anything at all for the first time this year. Depends on selected teams of course. May even do a sneaky Derickx to a cheap ruck for a cash grab(rest of my rookies still have money to make). With Pyke due back i can see Derickx getting dropped as the Swans will be way too tall IMO. Shame really, as Dex has been fantastic for the Swans since Pyke went down

Need to upgrade Langdon to Bartel, just not sure how I am going to go about it yet.

Having no defender rookie to downgrade Langford to so I can upgrade Langdon to Bartel is a real pain in the arse.

Only thing I can think of is going Minson > NicNat, Langdon > Bartel or Langford > B.Martin or Shane Edwards/Jeremy Taylor from Gold Coast and hope they crack a game soon. Then could go Langdon > Bartel.

Too early to be trading Hallahan and the others won't pay you enough so I guess Langford is the only option. But as you say there's no one decent to trade him too. Having all three of Langford, Hallahan and Hartung could be a problem too. With them all being named on the extended bench they may not all be playing and increasing in value this week.

I think Halihan and Langford will definitely play.

Why on earth would you trade out Sandi when he is in pretty much the best form (and health) of his career? Also, if you wanted to get C Beams (which I do) it will need to be BEFORE next weekends games if you want to get him at his current price. If you don't mind missing out on the first price rise then by all means, leave it another week.

I have feeling that NicNat is back in form, Sandi will be rested during SC finals maybe as well? Need this coin to upgrade Mids. If I go
NicNat I will be able to keep my playing rookie ruckman on the bench, who is Longer for cover. Will then be able
to switch Dixon to Fwds if there is any injuries in the forward department for more flexibility as well due to lack of good Fwd cover rookies. Will bring in a DPP Ruck/Fwd into Forwards for switching as well. Not 100 percent sure on C Beams, hope another Mid rookie comes along soon.

Well it's not something I would do but I'm not in your shoes. Trading out a premium who is scoring well really doesn't make sense. I can understand the reasoning but you wouldn't want to pull the trigger and have Nicnat go down with an injury again. Isn't there anyone else you can downgrade to raise cash?

High risk, High reward scenario hey? Really worried about a Ruck going down as well, and would like to
keep some kind of cover for finals. I have Longer on bench I could use for cash but not to keen to use him as rookie playing
ruck replacements are scarce. Like some one in this forum said, might as well get Santa Claus in instead. Cows are mooing a bit too
slow at the moment as well. People seem to be a bit reluctant to get in Shents, why?

Wait, you're going to trade out a super-premo averaging 116 for a mid pricer averaging 70 because he might be rested at some point and because you need $ is like me trading out Ablett for Goddard so I can make an upgrade elsewhere. Does not make sense unless the ruck you are trading out is averaging 90 or less. The difference in points between Sandi & NicNat is probably greater than the rookie to premo that you plan on doing. Wasted trade IMHO. Be patient and downgrade your cash cows when they're ready to moo instead.

If he scores 116 (his average before last night) against us next week he'll be worth $531k with a BE of 115 odd, so depending on what he does next round, it'll either be next week or the week after. I know personally he's coming straight in for Cotchin for me pre-Round 13 (sideways somewhat yes but I have the trades and Cotchin is a continual disappointment).

Now why would you even entertain the thought of trading out Minson?
