Roughy is going well enough to start attracting the opposition's best defender, all the focus is on buddy when imo it shouldn't be right now. The problem for the other teams is that if buddy gets the 2nd defender he could cut loose and run amok, we are truly blessed to have as potent a forward line as this.

Monster game from Goo, best of the year from him warrior of old back again
Lake has been so strong for us recently great pick up thank god we grabbed him don't think we would be 11-1 without him even more so with the cobbler out for the year
Simpkin is probably going to be stiff when WhiteX and Junior come back
Savage played well the kind of game I like from him, goals, attack and effort
X was quite needs more time I think
Hodge was Hodge
Mitch lifted when we needed, Burgers too
Gibbo massive effort as always, Stratts not his best, hope Embley goes for what he did
Gunners was great
Big Rough, MVP nuff said
Punky back
Birch hope he is ok, ditto for Gibbo
Buddy, r*ped handled it pretty well
Hale and Big Max competed well
Great to see two high intensity efforts in a row from the boys worked hard, showed heart kicked it up a notch when needed go Hawks

Roughead you star! What a gun!

Thought Guerra played brilliant to.

Gunner, Breust, Mitchell, Buddy , Lewis, Lake, Gibbo all fantastic to.

Sav grabbed his opportnity with both hands, didn't see Ellis. Apart from the behind.

Thanks hawks you just got there they played their best game this season and you guys played pretty average. Umps still liking the budgies 20 to 13 free kicks .
Hodge courage is unbelievable and man I wish we had a Roughead he is freaking awesome

Our plan is panning out the way we want it... Don't lose a game till we play the Cats again then lose to them and then let the Angry hunger set in and finish of the year even stronger to drive us to our 11th flag

Did enough.

11 in the row.

High comedy value from watching some of the most horrible decisions I've seen in many a day. And the non-decisions too. Yep, mostly involving Buddy.

I noticed a new rule tonight. You're allowed to jump into brown and gold backs, but you get pinged if the player is wearing blue and gold. Nitnat can do what he likes, but you are not allowed to touch him.

3- Jarryd Roughead
2-Gunstone
1-Brian Lake
Our worst players were probably the 2 ruckmen which is a bit of a worry ,we are lacking in the midfield center clearances which will show when we play the cats in 2 weeks if we don't improve.Mitchell ,Sewell ,Lewis need to lift.

Savage was great, if i was Smith id be worried about my spot in the 22. Problem is SAVAGE IS NOT A SUB. The first 10 mins in the game he looked bad but he works his way into matches therefore he needs to play in the 21.

Gunston is fast becoming my favourite Hawk, how "Great Young Forwards" that are constantly brought up like Sam Reid, Daniher, Black etc yet no one mentions Gunston who productivity wise is the best key forward under 23 besides Cameron.

I thought both Mitch and Lewis were good.

Quite concerned about Sewelly but I am sure he'll bounce back.

the the umps were prob even overall, we couldnt win a holding the ball, and when a hawthorn player looked at us they got a free for holding the ball

Was that the 1990 game? Get over it; that was 23 years ago.

AFL isn't your mainstay I see.......there is a reason why you have commented like you have you know......

Golly, we have a few limping around, probably not playing for a few weeks I would think, Hodgey limped in tbe room before,Gibbo bad ankle I think, Birch knee, I just hope it's not too bad. Goodness how many more we have sore for next week is unknown
:( All adam White talked about on ABC how brave Selwood was with his sore shoulder, does he think he is the only one injured. FGS..

I think Gunners doesn't get credit for a couple of reasons
He isn't the "big" forward he is a leading forward like Jack Watts was meant to be :D
He gets the 3rd defender because of Buddy and Rough
He plays on the wing a lot
Dude has kicked almost 80 goals in under 50 games has all the making of a long term fantastic pickup for the club love his work
