Going to sound like a broken record, but our main problem is the lack of pressure, lack of knowing how to defend, lack of body strength so even when we have a one-on-one, most are too flat footed and too light to make an effective tackle or put pressure on. I think we need a more defensive structure/system and then just teach them how to rebound aggressively on the turnover. We are just getting slaughtered on every line and out confidence is shot. Also have to hit the gym hard, most players are 5-10kg too light.

Same old systemless, structureless nonsense yet again. Nothing more emblematic than Powell getting possession from a corridor turnover - the same kind of thing we always get torched by - and having to try some extraordinary solo play (and end up failing/turning it back over) because our gameplan always leaves us without genuine options, in basically every situation. Meanwhile, they can spot up targets aplenty in the forward line - had four straight early because every shot they generated was in prime position to score accurately. Looking forward to one day being "hard to beat" again, because right now it's the easiest thing imaginable to beat us, and beat us well.
