given the decline of fletcher and braun - and with embles playing back flank - butler would be in our best 5 mids behind kerr, priddis and an out of form stenglein.
his dt backend to 2006 was great!!
and his gf dt score was well over 100

but if you need a reasonable 6th mid to free up cash but still average 80+ - then butler is your man!
Actually Butler only scored 66 in the GF. But in the 3 finals leading into that he scored 74,106 and 87. Had some pretty big scores in those last few rounds.

I just got other areas I need to address... Current midfield is:
Ablett, Scott Thompson, Marc Murphy, Nick Stevens, Dal Santo, and Palmer.
So for now I think one of the last three is expendable, probably Stevens, and I'll get Butler as you said to free up some cash to fix my shithouse forward line.

Q. should i upgrade SDT this week to anyone or should i wait until next week and get Birchall
Q. My midfield is a bit suss. It started off beautifully in the first 3 rounds.

Johnstone gets 110 then gets 60....cant break a tag. Due to his High BE should i trade him? to mmurphy, cross, cornes, corey

ATM im leaning towards shutting up shop on trades and keep them as long as i can before finals football

I have an EXTREMELY hard choice to make this week and would greatly appreciate some guidance.
Which of these three sets of trades should I do.
Brad Ebert for Callum Ward and Josh Kennedy for Matthew Richardson
or
Chris Judd for Sam Butler and Josh Kennedy for Ryan O'Keefe
or
Chris Judd for Sam Butler and Cyrol Rioli for Paul Chapman (This means Jarryd Morton has to play for me)

I would wait for West to return until you pick up Cross. His numbers have been below his standards in Wests abscence.
Yeah i meant more in regards to price. But i am leaning more towards mcloed.

My centre emergencies are Browne and Geary.
I am wanting some cash but I don't need it for a few weeks. Does Ward look the goods or should I wait for another candidate later on. Who do you recon I should hang on to out of Browne and Geary? Geary is starting in the centre this week if that means anything..

I have ellis and he is the weakest player in my team
should i trade him for p burg and get rid of stevens for anyone except Gabllet( cant afford)
Or
Trade ellis for drummond(think of doing this because only 2,000 people have got him) and get rid of stevens for anyone except Gabllet( cant afford)
Or just leave ellis

keep palmer, hes a gun. upgrade someone else
Regardless of how Palmer is performing, the chance of him getting anywhere near ST is worth the cost of two trades.
For me, with the demons blooding a new coach this year, Bruce's role has changed too much to be considered reliable.
Have to trade Ellis, Guerra back is going to holt his scores.
Don't like either options to be honest. Drummond is way to injury prone and unless you have Myers as a bench player, you'll just be frustrated as he will miss more games. Burgoyne stuggles when he has a tag which will normally be placed on him, also things might change at Port if they are out of the running for the finals, to risky.
Mackie, S.Fisher and Bock are the best options down back at the moment, that's if you have Shaw and Cornes. Pick Mackie if you want a more "unique" option as only 5,000 people have him wereas 34,000 have Bock and 20,000 have S.Fisher.
