I'm all for taking a risk Impromptu, but Kreuzer when you have a chance to win SC? Seriously?

Noting that all things being equal Sandilands play all year and Griffen not getting back. No choice man. There was nothing else available this week.

By the way, I'd say the Top 3 have it wrapped up as 1-2-3.

Prompts - to be fair - Kreuzer did have to play the best ruck combo in the league by FAR, the blues as a team were all spuds and Kruez looked like he had the 2nd game blues. 2411 is a good score and will surely keep you very close to top. With No Sandi left everyone will jump - either goldstein (who i have a man crush on, Jamar will also be popular) Kreuzer is gutsy but that is what differentiates the top players. Good Luck!

If Sandilands scored 100 and played out all year then I'd be happy with my Kruezer trade. It's the fact that I coincidentally had Sandiland's replacement which really stings. It's not that the Kruezer trade was bad, it's the fact that I could of used Griffen and saved a trade.

2411 I'll actually gain on the top 3 by 75-150pts is my quick calculations..

Whilst I'm annoyed I know I had no choice, if I didn't make the trade then next week I could be caught in limbo play a ruck short..

All 3 have obvious pros/cons but I think all present a better case than Kreuzer. I know hindsight is nice to have but what do you think you would do if you could choose again?

I can't afford McEvoy, Godstein nor Jamar and overall leader has 350pt gap on me. I can sit here and slowly allow the leader to take a bigger leader or just throw the gaunlet and say I'll finish winner or top 1000.

If I had my choice again, I wouldn't trade (well obviously as I now know Sandilands is injured and Griffen will get games), however there were not any other options.

Going for the players you suggest would mean I would have to use another trade. That is why I said I had no choice. I wasn't prepared to sit and wait to see if Jolly gets a game next week.

All things being equal, I would have been left in no-man land and if Kruezer scored 80, I couldn't even afford him, so I'll be left with a donut or Jolly or a donut or another donut . My point is I could not afford McEvoy, Godstein nor Jamar and if I didn't do the trade I may have not afforded Kruezer next week

I agree with you that your advice applies in most circumstances but my circumstances are different (like always)

Hindsight is the key here. Had Kreuzer scored a ton, Sandi played and continued to play (and Griffin stayed out) this would be a mute point... but unfortunately for Impromptu it all went wrong.

When you're in Impromptu's position, these are the type of decisions you have to make. It's easy for those not in his position to make judgement, ala him not starting Goddard when every man and his dog were on his decision but it was a calculated risk that has put him ahead of the pack.

Happy enough with that score but was hoping for 2400-2500 at the start of the day but only Petrie and Cox delivered tons while Judd, Gibbs and Stevie J let me down.

My Freo trio of Pav, Broughton and Fyfe were the stars this week.

Plus the fact is I know my call was right [in my circumstances], as I can't predict Sandilands to be injured and Griffen to get games.

The key was that if I didn't make the trade, I'd have no ruckman at all (for the next few weeks)...LOL...as I can't afford anyone above Kruezer's price and as aforementioned if Kruezer scored his 80 with his (B/E at 57 if irrc), my other choices were Jolly and Vickery

2195 all out.

May or may not hold my overall of 1,752. Have to wait and see. But it was a great recovery. Only 2 of my first 10 players that played this weekend cracked the tonne (7 of those 10 scored 60's and 70's). But 8 of the last 12 managed a tonne and Richardsons 61 saved me from a donut.

Pretty happy really considering i have 6 premiums one the pine.

Thanks for scoring 150 last week and 50 this week....Thanks for the entrapment, Kruezer, you set the trap and I took it..now I expect you to spud it up and I'll look forward to 2012.....I had so much hesitation with this trade but thought no way Griffen will get a game....

2380 - 1st decent score for the year - ranked around 50000.
saving grace is i still have a dozen trades, so plenty of upgrades to come, and no injuries to the 22 this week.

2208 with my first donut koz of Bartel/Mzungu(e) debacle.

About 5000 overall so will probably drop 2000ish with the high scores this round.

Since I've brought in Bartel got 4 and 0 from him
