Should start calling him "Flash"
I wish they'd keep those statements out of it. To me it weakens the defence. Just say it how it is, anyone with a brain knows Butler shouldn't be suspended.

This is the biggest load of bullshit by the AFL, complete morons. They can't be serious with this nonsense...

Ms Flynn it is a contact sport, is that correct?

Ms Flynn, is it possible in any circumstances that a tackle applied correctly without malice, may result in the impact to player Blakey as occurred on Thursday?

Spare me the legalese from a KC looking to make a name for themselves in the Herald Sun - any chance of just a modicum of common sense?

Is there a special "potential to cause injury" rule just for St Kilda?

It seems that way, our players don't need to cause injuries to get suspended, just the potential or the mere thought of causing an injury is enough.

Do other sports put there players on trial like this for a regulation tackle?

Seems comical as s**t, but then again I’m just reading the comments.
Yes, but we are a bunch of try-hards. We put on a front like we're an elite sporting code but when push comes to shove we are shown up as amateurs. Umpiring, tribunal, the lot. I only watch the game these days to see us win a flag. Sad state of affairs.
