Here's my current team, 9 trades to go, $65,300 in the bank.


I'm sure it'll change a bunch of times this week, but I basically need one more premo to have a full 22, but I've gone lots of value picks so I want someone fairly top range I reckon. Round 15 is a worry which is affecting some of my choices.

So I'm liking the idea of Josh Kelly.

If I went Cameron to Mozzie, I'd be just short of Rankine to Kelly, but I could do it if I culled another rook and grabbed O'Neill or someone.

Team would then look like this, 6 trades left for the rest of the season to hopefully luxury upgrade the likes of Wingard and Hurn.


Thoughts? Is there a better option I'm missing?

Be handy to know how much money you have if you are asking for trade advice. You badly need to upgrade some of those maxed rookies.

Good point. $65,300 in the bank at the moment.

Long term game plan would be to sit on hands and ride out round 15, cull Pickett in Round 16 and Draper in round 17 or 18, with whoever else is most maxed out in the other, using the money for each of them on a luxury upgrade.

I’m undecided whether I attempt to finish my 22 or focus on top 18. I finished top 2 in my main h2h league and my opponent doesn’t have Neale in their team.

Riccardi'si stats were more impressive with 16 touches and 2 goals but he plays for GWS so his JS probably isn't as good.

Did I see that Yeo hasn't flown to the hub with the rest of the team?

Yeah he didn't fly out with the rest of the team so he will be out until finals you would think.

A team of also ran premos forces due to various issues. Trying to correct plus complete.
This is what I'm thinking taking into account byes left. (Hoping Draper will hold a while longer yet)

Honestly looking at your squad, I wouldn't even trade and wait for 1 more round of mooing.

If anything I will trade out Starc -> BJ Williams and bank another 130k. Why BJ Williams you ask? So you can DP Draper when he maxes out at the end of round 16.

So in theory I will do this.

Round 14.

Starc -> BJ = 130k + 187k = 317k.

Rd 15.

Close -> Dead 102k Rookie = 130k (If lucky?)
Bank = 447k.

Rd 16.

Draper (360k) -> LLyod (650k) or Stewart (505k)
Devon Smith or McInery -> Better R2 or F6.

Food for thought.

Leaves you with 3 trade for Round 17 and 18 for injuries + Luxury upgrades.

Figured if Draper scores well (100+) in the early game, I can ditch Gawn and get 2 other rookie scores off the ground. Gives me the best chance to win the round, and get a week off the following week. Thoughts on this approach?

Bell>Greenwood

Any other suggestions?

Really interesting team, team set up nicely I think. A lot of trades leftover.

Rd 14.
1. George -> Ricardii/Mozzie (Whoever is named) = 125k bank
Bank = 380k Trades = 9 Left

Rd 15.
1. Close (230-240k if he plays) -> Dead 102 Rookie = 125k bank
Bank = 505k Trades = 8 Left

2. Serong (375k) -> Neale (700k) = 325k Cost
Bank = 180k Trades = 7 left

Rd 15.
1. Draper (360k) -> Dead 102k Rookie = 258k
Bank = 338k Trades = 6 left.

2. Schoenberg (220k hopefully?) - > Tim Taranto (440kish)
Bank = 110k Trades = 5 left.

3. Sholl (220k hopefully?) -> Dead 102k rookie = Bank 118k.

Bank = 228k Trades = 4Left.

Rd 17 (Best 22) - Use the rest of the 4 trades in Round 17/18 for luxury trades.
Swing Wicks Mid and Trade Bytel for a 450k F6.

Note: Maybe get a playing 117k or 123k playing rookie instead.

Nice trades and nice team mate.

Considering exactly the same thing, except considering Grundy instead of Gawn especially with Grundys bye to come.

If Draper goes 100+ then he's gonna get to 400k in no time and with 9 trades left that is more than plenty to use 1 or 2 to do draper > gun ruck when draper maxes out.

I honestly don't expect Mozzie to even feature in my scoring next few rounds. Just need a rookie to cull. He might get lucky and do a Baby John and score 71 in round 15?
