Great lead, mark and then spot up of Stefanakis in the F50 by Tucker. Surprisingly impressive!

Wow that was rough. Midfield getting slaughtered and putting our backline under serious pressure, but our defenders are also playing really poorly. Dropped marks, fumbling, and missing easy kicks. When we do win it, we constantly bomb it and seem to forget Ramsden is our only tall forward.

Bennetts gets a pass, he was trying really hard with limited chances.
Reeves is getting beaten but has taken some strong marks forward and back.

That's it for the positives. Ugly viewing.

Southport look slick. Huss doing well but really doesn't have anyone to dish out to that can hit a target in the forward line.

Just continues in the second quarter...

Goal in less than a minute. Looking good to go forward. Then turned it over and no one was playing defence. Individuals and systems letting us down.

Yuck. First play of the second - we fail to lock it in despite having an extra player, they get a clean break, and Denver overcommits leaving them to kick an easy goal.

One of the few positive plays we've had, a strong intercept from Serong, is deemed a push. As our players were running forward to provide an option, Southport get a quick and easy break. Luckily they miss.

Nonsense free against Serong who has been the only defensively sound Box Hill defender for the day.

That end to end transfer from our forward 50 was one of the worst pieces of play I've seen this year. Just no effort being put in.

Box Hill are so ridiculously undisciplined in defending the ground and getting to the spaces they need to. Even going forward, guys are trailing 15-20m to get to the ball drop, no threat of a turnover in sight.

I have no clue what our players are doing. Really poor turnover from Porter into the 50 but the ease at which they rebound, and the fact that three of their players are free in the 50, means the structure is falling apart.
