Cox had 21 touches, 15 marks and kicked 3.1 with a score of 215 in 2012 vs. Goldy. I remember it like it was yesterday. Best performance from a ruckman I'd seen in a long time.

Cox got massive scaling for kicking the winning goal in that game. Only got 25 HOs vs the 60 odd Goldstein got tonight. CD don't give out 50 points for a winning goal anymore and this game didn't even get to that point.

Cox dominated a game against North down in Hobart back when I had him, he scored about 200 pts from memory against better opposition.
Goldstein was great but he was up against a complete donkey in McKernan who gave away about a gazillion free kicks in the ruck and let Goldy run amok.

As I said, Cox was terrific in that game but got 50 points for kicking the winning goal. This game never came down to it and Cox also played a fair bit down n the forward line that day, took 6 contested marks inside forward 50 from memory.
