Geezuz, you turn off when we're winning? That is pessimistic...I agree, re overconfidence. My gut (it tells me many things) feels very similar to before the Geelong game at Kardinia last year.

Mine reminds me of the Round 5 game against the Hawks, the last time I was super confident we were going to get up against the odds.

getting nervous, I dont want to fall out of the top 4.

I'm not nervous, just very very excited. No matter what the result the game itself will be great! Obviously if we get thrashed not so much.. but not expecting that.

dunno finding it hard to switch off my nerves this year. Hope your right

so to quote you

West Coast have no depth like a premiership team need.
We have depth, still winning against most sides despite a very heavy injury list.

But part of winning a premiership usually entails having a healthy list. When there isn't much that separates the best teams having a healthy list provides a big advantage. That is the way it has always been.

FACT.

21/42 ie. 50% of games between these two clubs have ended up being decided by less than 4 goals.

Sydney won the past 3.

The last 2/3 games have been won by under 15 points.

The last time Sydney lost to the Eagles by more than 4 goals was back in 2005 in R6 at Subi!

Jeez with Cox, Kerr, Nic-Nat, Glass, Priddis, Rosa and Gaff out how can they compete?

We're playing in Perth and they have most their core still there. Lynch is a loss with Kennedy also out, but other than that you'd hope they'd have the depth to fill the spots.
Lynch, Kennedy, LeCras, Waters, Embley, Nicoski, Shuey and Hill.

We have covered some big omissions for most of the season but when you then lose their replacements? 4 of those guys are in our best 10, all are best 22.

Sydney would be hard enough to beat if we had a full squad to chose from.
