Team (with 8 trades left):

Laird, Rance, Lloyd, Touhy, Shaw, Newman - Stewart, Ryan
Danger, Mitchell, Bont, Pendles, Oliver, Selwood, Treloar, Adams - Greenwood, Fisher, Cousins
Goldy, Witts - Strdnacia
Yeo, Macrae, Dahlhaus, Greene, Heeney, Nank - Parsons, Bolton

Broad plan:

This week

Stewart -> Witherden
Parsons -> Lynch

Next week

Witts -> Gawn
Fisher - > Brown / M/F rookie

Following week

Greenwood -> Zorko, Neale, Zerrett, Sloane etc (switch Adams back)

Would leave a team of (with 3 trades):

Adams, Laird, Rance, Lloyd, Touhy, Shaw - Newman, Ryan
Danger, Mitchell, Bont, Pendles, Oliver, Selwood, Treloar, Zorko, etc - Witherden, M/F rookie, Cousins
Gawn, Goldy - Strdnacia
Yeo, Macrae, Dahlhaus, Greene, Heeney, Nank - Lynch, Bolton

This would give me solid cover on the D and F lines with the ability to switch any of Adams, Lloyd, Yeo, Macrae, Dahl into the middle. Only glaring deficiency would be a lack of Doc which I could look to fix before finals if no LT injuries.

Best laid plans!

With 670k in the bank how much more do you want. Thats a high quality premo right there. Depends on how the rest of your team is but that cash should be onfield. You are doing yourself out of points otherwise.
I will use the cash to upgrade to Premo Premo (2 upgrades takes care of all that cash) and with only 6 trades for injuries etc, we still have 8 rounds to play. I would love to pick Gawn up this week but he needs to show more. I wasn't all that happy with his movement and he certainly is not at his best yet, im happy to pay a bit more and wait if need be. My gut feel tells me to wait for him to show more and move better. In the mean time i will give the young fella (HODOR) a go.

Gawn 150+ this week lol

Am I missing something... Why are people trading in Lynch?

I presume it's to be permanent F7 loophole. I wouldn't do it on value. Hell, his B/E this week is 64 & I reckon he'll struggle to get it at the SCG!

Actually you got me thinking now Glorin , (thats why i love this forum), maybe i just leave Ryder as R2 and go Parsons to Punchable :thumbsu:

Need help deciding on what to do with my other trade this week?

Parsons to Gawn via Ryder
Parsons to Yeo?
Upgrade Fyfe now? (rather wait for Jelwood)
Upgrade Ryan......originally was keen on Laird or Adams but concerned with their drop off in form?

Help plz :)

I've got a little cash and 7 trades, so need to fix this mess.

Looking at Witherden in (doy), but not sure who to cut for him. Candidates are Scharenberg who looks fine but can't get a game, Cousins who will make no money whatsoever but isn't doing anything, or even Ainsworth, who is flying. Leaning towards Cousins, because the others are all doing stuff, making money and can keep DPP flexibility in the team.

Second trade it's time to either bring in a top mid premo and swing Macrae fwd, or bring in Gawn and swing Nank forward. Can't work out which is the priority. Likely candidates would be Mitchell or Neale.

I made a diagram to simplify things :

Nice team, what rank?
I would upgrade Fyfe and start to think about trading in few loophole players :thumbsu:

Fwiw, guess:
Cousins > Witherden.
Being able to swing Lloyd might come in handy, Scharenberg a chance to get more games and if not might help as a loop here or there.
Edit: Just saw you already have NM Hibberd for that.
If your mid target is set to rise in price and could have a big game (e.g. Neale vs North, think they have given up big mid scores this year), maybe go that over Gawn - up against Kreuzer, probably won't go that huge -, and look at Gawn next week.

Should regain Jelwood this week. Is Greene expected to return as well?
4 trades left, but will be tempted to use 2 trades to upgrade Stewart to a Def premo and keep JJ as D7.

i think greene should be back this week, misreporting of a hammy last week when gws came out and said he was borderline with an ankle suffered at training. go premo def, but look for def/mid dpp, JJ at m7 is good as cover for def but having that m6 as dpp would cover any potential mid loss and could save you a trade in the future

So I'm down to one trade left and I need to get rid of Beams.

I've got $529,200 to spend

I've sorted players by their 3 round average and here's who I'm considering.

Callan Ward - $512,200. 3 Rd Avg - 120.0
Lachie Whitfield - $524,900. 3 Rd Avg - 119.3
Jarryd Lyons - $519,600. 3 Rd Avg - 115.0
Andrew Gaff - $514,900. 3 Rd Avg - 114.3
Luke Parker - $510,400. 3 Rd Avg - 112.3
Jack Billings - $525,600. 3 Rd Avg - 109.3
Brandon Ellis - $524,100. 3 Rd Avg - 108.3

After that there's Robbie Gray, Brad Hill, Jobe Watson, Dom Sheed, Steele Sidebottom and Mark Blicavs who all have a 3 Rd Avg of 100 or more and are within my price range.

I'm leaning mostly towards Ward, Lyons and Parker. Although Whitfield has the highest overall average which is 104.7 while everyone else's overall average is 96.1 or less.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Parker is the best of that lot.
