Very, very nice team mate.

I reckon a Dusty/Neale wouldn't hurt in the mids, for who is a tough one, maybe Fyfe who looks short of a gallop/cooked IMO.

Also Witts>Gawn will only cost you 40k, I'd pull that trigger asap.

Move one of Beams or Selwood to Dusty. Ridiculous amount of money in your pocket and on your mid bench, and with 8 trades left you've got to use it.

Then move Lloyd to def and put Shaw on the bench.

I would party.

<insert jpeg that would get me banned>

Apart from that, next week Berry to plonker D/M.

Lloyd to backs Withers to mids & whoever the **** you want in mids via Beamer or Scooter.

No need to upgrade fwds yet only really missing Punchable & he maybe out.

Top team.

campaigner.

I'm not looking for overall now that I've dropped so far in the last 2 weeks, but weekly is my aim.

My next 4 trades will hopefully be:

Berry - Laird
Scooter - Rockliff
Shaw - Jelwood
Bolton - Greene

4 left for Deluca downgrade, witts to Gawn and another one down one up

I think with 3 trades left it's too late sideways out Sloane or Murphy.
You could go...
Stewart > Witherden
Parsons > Gawn
That would open up a lot of versitality in your loop-hole options for the rest of the season.

I know you only want to use one trade, but imo

Stewart to Witherden
Parsons to Gawn

Should leave you with like 9-10k left for your last trade

Bench Sloane and field a Lloyd/Newman/Greenwood type instead

You have great DPP coverage already with the ability to shift a few across the lines already, imo sidewaysing Sloane to Gawn doesn't help your depth, keeping Sloane plus adding Gawn and Witherden significantly improves your depth. Sloane plays on Friday night this week, so you can always just loophole him potentially somehow via a Bolton/Cousins/Brown etc.

Stewart has a broken jaw/cheekbone doesn't he? I'd just do the 2 trades and sit on the one trade and hope for the best, but your team is completed and hope Sloane/Murphy can turn it around.

Unfortunately in SC/RDT at this time of the year we have to carry them underperformers, but having great squad depth means we can bench a problem underperformer if need be.

Anyways, your call but that's what I'd do. That last trade should strictly be for a season ending injury, but as you'll have quality depth, perhaps you could wait a week or two and see if the right player is the right price if you can't afford the replacement player you want straight up.

Fair points lads, thanks for the advice as I didn't really consider these options as I assumed I wouldn't have enough cash to upgrade a Parsons to Gawn.

This would allow me maximum flexibility, in terms of coverage and loopholes in these areas:

- Nank can cover as a RUCK/FWD.
- Murphy/Sloane or another MID can operate as a SP perma-loophole option, depending on who plays earliest in the week and can loophole.
- Greenwood adds more depth as a MID/FWD bench loophole option. Could alternate with Lynch or Nank.
- Witherden gives me another DEF/MID along with Lloyd, Adams, and Hibberd to alternate and loophole as required. If Lloyd is needed in DEF, I can bring Murphy into the middle, etc.
