Thought DGB presented well. Our forward half entries are dog s**t tho
Happy for him to kick a goal but we saw why he has a ways to go as a forward. Looked lost at times, searched for body contact a lot.

Much better effort than the last couple of weeks. But still feel flat and frustrated as hell after that.

Chad and Greene played well and Worpel was huge today. Blanck was solid down back.

Stoked with the effort. Wasn't expecting much considering what I thought were some odd calls at the selection table.

Blanck played his best game.
Newcombe was immense.
Day nearly put in a match winning performance.
Worps tried to drag us over the line in the final quarter.
MacDonald just keeps getting better.
Weddle is a star.

The better team lost if you don't count those incompetant umps as a team
It really wasn't that badly of an officiated game and it certainly wasn't the difference between the two teams.

Never like losing but liked the effort .

Thought we might finish over them but just werent good enough .
Feel like weve turned the corner a little now

Shocking ground . And now we get to hear how great GWS are going all week despite the fact theyve narrowly beaten us twice 😁
That patch if grass between wing and half forward needs to be investigated. Serious injury waiting to happen.

Was kicking the ball around in my backyard and Taylor took an intercept mark
I think at Waverly next week when we are doing kicking drills they will somehow end up on the chest of a Giants player.

If we had a forward structure we could have won this match easily. We were just bombing the ball forward as if we had Dunstall and Brereton in the forward line. We have been saying this for years now but not fixing it still. I say again Lewis is CHF and not a FF. We need not only tall but small speedy forwards too.

It's so frustrating because we are so close to having it all come together but just not close enough. I find it worse than being completely terrible because you know if we have some luck and more polish we win

There's certainly more signs of progress today, stick fat, it's coming

That was a much better effort compared to the last two terrible performances at least.

On a similar note Reeves was much better in the second half, after a poor first half. More of that please.

Finn did an amazing job on Kelly, who had been averaging 28.82 touches this season. His lowest possession tally prior to this week was 21.

Ward, MacDonald and Wingard kicking goals is nice for differing reasons.

DGB not getting any touches after HT is disappointing. I hope he gets a crack at playing a full game back next week.

Skill errors and composure. We really should have won, and will do comfortably in another 30 games.

Can't fault the effort.

Fantastic game Worps and Blanck.

Our key position stocks are in all sorts but. Huge issue.

Happy for DGB, and we should persist forward next few weeks, but it feels so similar to the Kosi switch who would have got slammed for a 4 touch, zero mark game.

Lewis needs to fight harder against quality oppo.
