Why don't you just pack your own food?

Stadium food had always been lukewarm crud quality at both Subi and Optus.

Grab a roll and a canoli from the Re Store and maybe a can if chinotto. 🤌

Gotta be the San Pellegrino chinnotts, that shit burns ciccio

And in my opinion it has to be the two tone eclair rather than the cannoli to go with the mixed meat, cheese (provolone; not the bog average cheddar slices), salad, melanzane and artichoke roll. Chef kiss

And opens up a spot on the wing for Gaff! Everyone wins.

Never understood why he wasn't given a fair crack at being the inside bull.

Because our coaching staff are not anywhere as smart as they think they are.

They clearly have zero nose for talent. Martin, SPP...even Tholstrup today. Right under our noses and we can't see it.

Take Ainsworth as the #1 contested ball winner in the carnival. Refuse to let the kid near a contest until they delist him.

It's an ongoing litany of failure in identification, development and implementation.

Id like a bunch of changes to be made.
  • Im giving Gov the week off regardless if hes injured.
  • Darling can have a rest(he can get game 300 early next year then retire, leaving a list spot for the MSD :)).
  • Kelly or Yeo can have a rest, they each get a rest over the next 2 weeks so theyre both back for the derby.
  • Id also make Duggan a midfielder for a while, he can get 20+ touches a week in there and is a big body to give the other guys a break. He can also stand next to Lachie Neale.
  • We dont need a 3rd tall vs Brisbane, they only run Daniher and Hipwood, with Daniher the 2nd ruck also. 2 talls will be enough.
  • Move Reid to the backline to give him a rest, its been a big year. Get the ball into his hands and let him create. Give Reid the license to do whatever he wants with the ball.
  • Id make Hunt a full time backman for a bit too, hes got speed and isnt as bad with the ball as JJ is.
  • Witherden to focus on being more defensive, let Reid and Hunt distribute.
  • One of BW or JWilliams out, ideally BW out for Flynn. If Flynn is still injured then leave BW in naturally.
  • Having Reid and one of Kelly/Yeo out of the midfield lets us try Culley and Hall, along with allowing Ryan and Brockman to have stints that looked quite good a couple weeks ago.
  • If Hewett is a couple weeks away from playing AFL then we wont have many more chances to play other midfielders barring injuries.
  • Maric to play wing for the rest of the year

Ins: HEdwards, Dewar, Maric, Culley, Hall
Outs: Gov, JJ, Rotham, Darling, Kelly/Yeo
Optional move is Chesser out for Johnston, but that might be 1 move too many this week.
5 changes, with 3 old fellas and 2 list cloggers out for 4 guys 21 or under and HEdwards is a step in the right direction

Defenders: Barrass, HEdwards, Hough, Cole, Reid, Hunt, Witherden
Midfielders: Yeo/Kelly, Culley, Maric, Chesser, Ginbey, Hall, Duggan
Rucks: Flynn, JWilliams
Forwards: Allen, Waterman, Cripps, Ryan, Brockman, Hutchinson, Dewar

FB: Hough HEdwards, Cole
HB: Reid, Barrass Hunt
C: Maric Ginbey Chesser
HF: Cripps Allen Ryan
FF: Hutchinson Waterman Dewar
R: Flynn Duggan Yeo/Kelly
Int: JWilliams Brockman Culley Witherden
sub: Hall

Barrass can do Govs role and float around when Daniher is rucking, HEdwards to take Hipwood.
Bring Gov back when hes ready, or after 1 if hes fine, but keep HEdwards in if we want 3 talls regardless of matchups.
Kelly and Yeo to both be back ready for the derby, Reid a few games off half back he might be a bit freshened up.
A much smaller forward line without Darling. Dewar and Hutch can bring some nice pressure down there hopefully, Ryan and Brockman can go mid as a rotation.
A much quicker backline with Reid/Hunt having the ability to break lines and create, thisll be important with no Gov back there this week.
Hewett and Bazzo back for the WAFL this week will be big, hopefully they can perform and push into the side by the end of the year, Hewett in particular

How the **** were we supposed to get Tholstrup exactly?

Out: JWilliams, Rotham, darling
In: Maric, HEdwards, Flynn
Sub: Jones

Maric to play in wing rotation with hunt and Chesser.

Brah any draftee would've looked like Judd vs West Coast today. Career games for JVR, Tholstrop and Windsor... What a coincidence.

They all feasted in a nothing flat track game, wouldn't be melting about their performance or how we've missed a trick just yet.

Nick Martin on the other hand..
Lawson on the other hand..

Out: Witherden, Rotham, Jones, Darling, Gov (if injured)
In: Maric, Culley, Trew, Johnston, H.Edwards (if Gov injured)

Hunt and Ginbey to play across half back (with Rotham/Witherden omitted); Maric/Johnston to play wing/half forward; J.Williams to play forward/2nd ruck (Darling rested/omitted), Trew and Culley to add to midfield/forward rotation to enable Reid and Kelly to spend some stints up forward; Chesser to sub

FB: Hough, Barrass, Duggan
HB: Hunt, Gov/H.Edwards, Ginbey
C: Maric, Yeo*, Johnston
HF: Ryan*, Waterman, Cripps
FF: J.Williams, Allen, Culley*
R: B.Williams, Reid*, Kelly*
I: Trew*, Brockman, Cole, Hutchinson
Sub: Chesser
* = Midfield rotations

Brisbane will belt us anyway but would like to see us reward the few guys that do perform at WAFL level (and there is only a few sadly) with a stint of games to finish the season.

Out:
Reid for being arrogant and lacking respect
Ginbey for being in the game only when put in the guts
Hough for kicking into the man on the mark despite shutting down most of the games small forwards all year.

In
Gaff
Sheed on 1 leg
Edwards, another coaches pet
Sadly some people will think you're being serious
