Just falling short on trading rich to bartel.
Trading in steven instead of ward costing me even more now as I could have got boyd.

Was planning to get mveigh but the turd in injured.

My options are now

Howe, Gibson, McGovern, Pittard, McDonald, Rance

Or my least favoured option which is to keep Rich.

Of the above lot Howe is probably my most favoured option as he has scored the most tons and a few of them being 120 plus.

Feedback appreciated.

Rich is playing. No trades. Ride it out IMO.
Everyone has that spud they are forced to hold all year. Rich is your spud.

Yeah tough spot like all, went Adams to Doc but have Lids & Hall up forward. My 2nd trade was going to be Libba>Ward but would it be better to move on Hall, bench cover in fwd line is Clay Smith & McCarthy. 5 trades and $64k in the bank. Suggestions?

Well Barry hall being out has really ****ed my trades up for the week after already having Lids on the pine. before the shocking news i had Davis,Libba >> Jpk, Robbie gray locked in.

now im thinking Davis > Gray and Trengove > Clay Smith.

Smith would become my 2nd mid/forward cover behind Hall, i cant see Trengove coming back into the team anytime soon now and even though im a week late on smith i can afford the extra 50k he went up. The plan was to get him last week but Laird out made me change my trades.

Seriously though smith is the only player in that price bracket who looks like a reliable 85 ppg player. If he stays fit he will be a good pick.

Well I avoided some of the carnage but I have been stung by hall

I'm planning on holding my whopping 3 remaining trades and bench hall instead. Tracca to start this week and sosos emergency

Not ideal but hopefully tracca can pump out an 80 which would be better than what that spud hall has been producing anyway

a. Ride it out, hope that Jansen and Hammer make the final team, McVeigh and Hall are short-term, and there are no late outs

or

b. Adams to Stevie Motlop or Clay Smith (Hammertime to def) - I lose the def/fwd switch, but I gain a playing bench player and future decent mid/fwd cover

or

c. Hall to Lycett or Hickey - I get a ~90 averaging F6, as well as some extra ruck cover for if Goldy is rested/put on ice

or

d. Hall to Lycett or Hickey & Adams to Motlop (via Hammertime to def)

tough week for me.
I've downgraded Collins to Markov, giving me 300k in the kitty and 3 remaining trades.
My main problem is that i have hall and Lids on the bench, with cover from Markov and Tracca.
Ideally i want to use the 300 to upgrade my last poor performers prior to finals. Unfortunately im 6th in my league and need one more win to scrape in.
Im even thinking of keeping collins and downgrading harbrow giving me 400k, allowing me to upgrade yeo/libba/robinson to SImpson/Hanners/Merret.

Thoughts please?

Considering I started with 4 of them (Laird, Pittard, Birchall and Rich), I don't think it's that bad
Injuries haven't allowed me to luxury upgrade Birchall and Rich; I got Docherty and McVeigh in when they were dirt cheap


I had a terrible starting side, so trading wasn't going to save me... I did the best I could with what I had, and tbh, I feel that almost all of my trade ins were good
