Maybe it was walking around Adelaide that made him I'll? Maybe he's lost all will to go on living in a world where Adelaide is considered a capital city?

Nah, he comes from Geelong.

8 Trades - 230k
Adams, Shaw, Hibberd (melb), Doch, Newman, Tuohy (Hibberd - Nth, Ryan)
Pendles, Danger, JPK, Neale, Merrett, Fyfe, Bont, Pepper (Berry, Witherden, Cousins)
Gawn, Martin (Strnadica)
Dank, Nank, Macrae, Buddy, Lynch, Greenwood (Eddy, Parsons)
Thoughts? Pendles to Selwood and Pepper to a FWD Swing Greenwood up or something else?
I would love opinions over what to do over 2 weeks to put me in good spot for finals. Thanks

Have Pendles and Sloane. I am going to bring in Selwood. Should I trade Sloane to Selwood like I had planned and hope Pendles is back in a week or two (Witherden as backup) or trade Pendles and hope Sloane can get somewhere near what he was doing at the start of the season? This trade will leave me with 4 left and approx 350-400k in the bank (have one fwd upgrade left to do next week).

So, here is my disgrace of a side:
Docherty, Laird, Adams, Rance, Shaw, Newman (Ryan, Scharenberg)
Danger, Mitchell, Neale, Pendles, JPK, Jelwood, Hanners, Fyfe (Witherden, Bolton, Cousins)
Martin, Goldy (Strandica)
Yeo, Macrae, Dahl, Nank, Wallis, Greenwood (Parsons, Brown)

As you can see, I have Goldy and Pendles (and some on field rookies). Problem is, I have only 3 trades left! (110K bank).

Thinking Goldy to Kreuzer (otherwise Parsons plays) and holding Pendles (Witherden cover)?

Good move or pull the trigger on Pendles or one of the rookies (and be left with just 1 trade for cover)?

Still haven't pulled the trigger on Pendles...

Narrowed it down to 2 options:
1) FYFE
2) GREENE (via Yeo DPP)

My instinct says Fyfe but I traded him out 2 weeks ago for Cripps and we all know how that turned out!!!

One of the added benefits of getting Greene is that it allows me to swing another DPP player in my mids to link with my forwards (currently only have 1 player in my mids who is DPP with FWD) - With minimal trades and (hopefully) finals coming up that extra flexibility will be handy!!

Thoughts??

Fyfe or Greene both great INs but I'm leaning towards Greene in your situation. Also thinking GWS will step up a gear as injured players return (I assume some will return in the next few weeks?)

Am going to hold Pendlebury and take Greenwoods 103.

Will now go Newman and Ryan to Hurley and F Watson.

Opens up a DEF loophole between Rance/Witherden.

FWD loophole is Roughead/Nankervis

In hindsight I should have left Greenwood as my M9 and then I could have done the same...and even used Pendles as my Captain loophole!

Goldy to Mummy or Gawn?

Decisions, decisions...

Mummy. Not only does he average more (roughly equal 2nd of all rucks)... Not only is he cheaper... But he has a nice run home. Put it this way, I can afford any ruck as my 2nd trade this week and I'm tossing up between Mummy, Kreuz & Ryder.

Pendles is going to be fresh as **** after his 1-2 week rest & relaxtion period, he will come out and bang a few 120+ games out and re-announce himself as the SP Pendles of old.

Gotta trade out Goldy, but who to? Either trade to Ryder, which gives me a swing option with Nank, or swing nank into ruck and bring in Macrae. Thoughts?

Would lean towards Macrae but Ryder gives me more flexibility if there is an injury. Also worried about how fit Ryder is after rolling his ankle last week.

Ryder

Do I use a trade and go McNiece > C Glass
My reasoning is that I will then have cover in the backline this week in case of any late outs and then next week I can swap Witherden back there.

Would leave my bench coverage (After trade next week) of
Ryan, Witherden
R Gray, Glass, C Brown
Darcy
Strandica, Greenwood

Can swap witherden/Greenwood around if need be and loophole Gray if he pulls out a monster score.
Darcy good back up if one of my rucks go down.
Strandica good C loophole and then have Brown/Glass in case I cant use him.
2 trades left with a completed team

Mcneice> Glass seems like a waste of a trade. what if Glass gets dropped after one game? Understand the enticement of him being DPP but if he's not playing it weakens your bench options. Would wait a week unless it means copping a donut.

McNiece isin't playing anyway and I would need to make the trade before the Ess game. Would be for cover this week in case any late outs in my game. Means I can swap Witherden back next week and I don't care if he gets dropped. Purley for DDP purposes.
I will have decent cover across all lines
