Lol at this point who ******* knows what will happen.

In 2005 Syd lost a home qf to WC by 4 points, end up winning the GF by 4 points.

In 2006 WC lose home qf final to Sydney by 2 points, end up winning the GF by 2 points.

Embrace the chaos! The universe tends towards entropy! Stop looking for patterns!

In 2007 Port won an away game to Geelong by 5 points. End up losing GF by 119 points.

In 2021 Port won an away game to Western Bulldogs by 2 points. End up losing Prelim by 71 pts.

Here's your pattern!

I just feel like we have half the team playing like Josh Carr wants us to play (and that is the half have only been playing for us for the past 2 years) and the other half of the team play like a Hinkley coached team: Gosh that was a bit hard, we tried so that's the main thing!

But of course there are exceptions such as SPP, Houston, Aliir etc. They just play great football.

We need Ken out so we can weed out the mediocre and the idea that "having a go" is good enough. This is not amateurs it is a well paid professional league. If you don't want to do the hard yards then leave. My 17 year is currently playing in the Cs with many a great player who is just not prepared to do the extras and so they play down.

One word - inefficiency. Not much more to be said than that.

26 shots to 18 - 13 more I50s. 5 goals 9 to 3 goals 1 in quarters 2 and 3 when we were dominating.

They wouldn’t have had a sniff if we had converted more of our very good chances.

It's always been our problem. It kills us time and time again. We're not ready for a flag until the poor goal conversion is rectified via bringing in more skilful players.

Sorry for the intrusion, sorry for the loss. Just wanted to say that as a neutral supporter, SPP is one of my favourite players to watch. Absolute beast and gives his heart and soul every week.

Old mate dutchy rolls in with his daily anti-tredrea post win or lose, port 2004 goes nuclear after being labelled a happy clapper, but seems to only know the words "w***er", "loser" and "tosser".

Chefs kiss

I know it will come with experience but Lachie needs to pick the right time to crash a pack in a marking contest and makes sure he kills the contest with a spoil.

He can't afford the ball to get over the back.

I come in peace ladies & gents.

Cracking effort. Drew was superb on Daicos, seriously solid footballer that bloke.

Butters and Rozee, just wow. JHF had some incredible moments too, lock that midfield up for 15 years...it's going to be special.

All the best for the year, you deserve another go at this mob. Should be a great game.

P.S

Please beat the Lions in the finals, I'll be cheering hard 🤞🏼
Thanks for nothing today!

Tough one to digest , could easily have won but we didn’t.
Top game really , if you wernt a top footballer you wouldn’t get mu done out there tonight , maybe with a fit Fantasia it might’ve tipped the balance our way because having 3 base level players skill and agility wise in SPP , Evans and McEntee all in the forward line we’re a bit down on flair down there .
Not much from Lycett, Marshall , Finlayson , Dixon ( who really does seem hobbled. ) .Thought most of the backline was solid , liked Jones , Drew was good curbing Nick Daicos’s influence , Butters , Rozee and JHF were all good, Dan the man Houston . Boak and Wines the support staff with Duursma , all three could’ve done more .
Rioli was probably our best forward . Just need Marshall and Bergman to start holding their marks . Lycett to get back where he was six weeks back .
Not panic stations but the 4 points would’ve been nice

Dropped murphy with a short right hook

I suspect Willie might have done a bit of boxing the way he keeps dropping blokes. Not a huge amount of force but he gets them in the right spot. Will get 2 weeks I'd say, but they might throw the book at him because he already got suspended..
Not the first time somebody's dropped Nathan Murphy this year. Without seeing the incident I'm sure he did something to deserve it. Punching him should be fair game.

I posted last week how Choco Williams was doing extra work on Melbourne's kicking, unfortunately our head potato doesn't think we need a specialst goal kicking coach. Tredrea did offer but was quickly snubbed by Donuts car salesman Hinkley.
Oh well you get what you deserve, hey Ken but I'm sure you won't, you will probably get another contract for getting close.
