I haven't bought into anything else I've seen about the umpiring tonight. The high tackle on Daicos was there, the deliberate was blatant, and Elliott marked the ball inside the line.

This, though? Hmm ...

Ones a mark and ones out on the full for starters so not really a like for like. I was perplexed by the alir one as anyone, even more so watching that back.

Would love to go the "if it bleeds, we can kill it" gif but not sure we have the killer edge. You don't give up a result on your home deck with that many chances to kill of a result.

Few of ours went in half baked, not sure about theirs, assuming De Goey was one that wasn't 100%.

Hopefully they treat next week as an elimination final. Second test of many leading into the run home.

On Finlayson, he's massively important to us, been off the last couple of weeks, not sure the reason but reminded me of 2010 when Wesley Sneijder had a couple of bad games for Inter. Rather than dropping him, Mourinho sends him for a weekend getaway with his Mrs. Comes back helps Inter win the treble.

I have to agree. I thought it would be the same old and we'd get pumped tonight. We got beat more thoroughly by Carlton last week. At least tonight we were right there. Bad kicking is bad football and that's a different thing to not showing up.

I fully concur, that was one of the best matches Ive ever seen, and not just saying that cos we got over the line.The pressure from both sides was elite, it was chaotic, frenzy, totally hot footy, gut busting by all the players, both teams never let up, it was frantic, white hot footy, worthy of a final. Port are a very good side, gave it their all. See you guys in the Finals.

Like it or not, this is what peak choad looks like people.
