Our small forward situation is bleaker than ever.

Weller can come straight in for Ainsworth and stick him on a wing, then move Holman back to a permanent forward.

Then we have to replace Davies and Rosas. Davies could be a swapped with a mid like Swallow or Fiorini, or stick Humphrey in there for a game.

But a small forwardā€¦ sigh. At least Rosas is only a week.

Also Witts is a test. Does he replace Moyle if fit? Thought Moyle was good on the weekend and would be a stiff dropping, but not sure we can play two rucks (instead of a Walter, for example).

If he doesn't sign in the next week he isn't staying then.
Will give us an answer one way or another how important he is to our set up and how much he is worth to us versus the open market.

Wouldā€™ve liked to see Rogers take the open spot as high half-forward pushing up to a wing with his kicking skills, but heā€™s 3 weeks away as well.

Assume it will be Graham, Berry, Weller in for Davies, Rosas, Ainsworth with a bit of shuffling of roles and Swallow sub. Injuries starting to pile up now and expose the lack of depth.

Is it just me or is Moyles tapping to adavatage exceptional and superior to Witts. He also moves so much better.
BTW l love Wittsy but Moyle is amazing for his age.

We seem to rush witts back maybe because we were always so reliant on him but hope he has a good block of training to make sure he's cherry ripe before playing. Seems underdone every time he plays, give Moyle another week and witts a week of training. One thing we may need though is witts experience, these injuries to senior players will take its toll.

If we can just get Al off weā€™ve had a good night at the tribunal

Heā€™s not getting off, but agreed. Jones showed 0 regard or safety for his head putting himself in the position he did. It was awful technique.

But Iā€™m sure the AFLā€™s response will be ā€˜you shouldā€™ve just let him take possession of the ballā€™. They wonā€™t stop until all possible heas contact is removed from the game.
