I thought quite an interesting play on Sunday was when Milera deliberately put a chaos ball to Gresham one on one against one of Freo’s bigger players. At first I thought the kick was a shank bit then realised what he was doing. Gresh lost the one on one as it turned out, but was closer than a kick to mark situation.

Did not mind it. Did anybody else notice that?
I noticed it and thought it was a mis kick.

im rather confident

i think the team will be as well, they know what they can do now

only thing i worry about is can the pace be kept up for 4 qtrs each week

other than that i think we are genuine chance against most teams on our day with no injuries

us by 4 goal and the crowd to be even bigger and louder

windy in for bytel which is tough but too bad, its only going to get tougher as injuries come back into the side over the next six weeks

What do we think the plan will be for this week? Back us in being a much smaller team and try get them on the run/spread? Dogs will have size everywhere so perhaps we'll have to rely on speed and just take the game on.

That's how the Dees beat them, they overran them with their speed and spread which became more noticeable as the game went on and the Dogs tired.

If we can keep the game close for the first 2 or 3 quarters like we did against Freo then we can hopefully overrun them like the Dees did and kick away.

It just looked like really poor team selection from the Dogs. They were too big and slow at either end of the ground.

Injuries means they won’t have a choice but to go smaller this week though. Might be a blessing in disguise for them.

Website has him 5-7 weeks.

Everyone seems to be healing slow.
Either that or we’re taking a very conservative approach and making sure everyone’s rock-hard fit before we roll them out.

Will be interesting to see what happens with Seb this week.

If he’s not quite 100% there we might give him the vest to let him ease back into it.

“Due to his knee injury, Tim’s training load has been diminished over the past six weeks,” Misson said.

“In order to set him up for a good season, we feel we need to extend his re-loading period accordingly.

“We’re hesitant to put a definite return date down for Tim, but at this stage it could still be anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.

“We will carefully monitor his progress and update as relevant.”

Imagine if we could get to round 5 4-0

😈
Far from out of the question.

Every chance Gold Coast will be 0-3 by time R4 rolls around (play Essendon in Melbourne this week, then Geelong up there), so will be huge if we win this week.

Essendon could easily be 2-0 and very up-and-about by R3 tho.

Just HAVE TO BEAT ESSENDON

F**KING HATE THEM

Scum club with trash supporters.

Would be perfectly happy if every Essendon player, member, supporter, even administrator, was herded into the cesspit that is Windy Hill, and then the ground was carpet bombed. Then you send in the kill teams to clean up any survivors. THEN demolish whats left of that monument to ****wittery, and finally, salt the earth so nothing ever grows there again.

Can’t take a trick

Can you believe, a cut to his knee. Stkilda, - no.nit just a small cut, but big enough that he has go to hospital and is out.

Bad luck fir Bytel. He needed to stay fit, to ensure he remained a Saint for next year.

At least these new injuries are short term ones.

Shame about Membrey though. And sounds like King still a while off too :(
