For those interested VFL is on Channel 7 at 12 on Sunday

We have a lot of kids sitting back there developing away at the moment, which makes it a really interesting watch.

I hope this is OK, and if it's not please let me know if there is somewhere else to post. I'm going to Adelaide Oval for the first time Saturday for the Adelaide V Richmond game.
When I purchased my 2 tickets, I mistakenly clicked on concession, so I now have 2 concession tickets that I can't use. I managed to get myself 2 "normal" tickets, but now I have 2 concession tickets that I can't use. They cost me $99 each and they are in Section S331, second tier.
I now also have 1 adult ticket in the same stand Section 331 second tier, as my friend has pulled out of going! This one cost me $115
I've not been to Adelaide Oval before, but I'm told these are all great seats.
So, 2 concession tickets and 1 adult ticket.
If anyone would like to buy them, I'll sell them together or separate for a reasonable best offer.
Thanks.

Overtaking has got a lot better over the past couple of years with the new regulations. The cars can now follow each other closely for longer which gets some pretty cool overtaking moments.
Red Bull is dominant this year unfortunately and it looks like they have the title in the bag after two races, but hopefully the other teams develop enough to make it competitive.

Each to their own, but a sport that’s “over” before it’s even begun doesn’t get me hyped.

Where is old mate with the injury report?
Any danger?
I feel like I've got a handle on this having experienced Luke's updates a few times now.

Off screen female voice: What are the injury updates?

Luke: takes a heavy draw from a cigarette ****ed if I know.

Not only does Meehan not give us any noteworthy insights during his interviews, now there's no weeks attached to the injuries either. What constitutes short term? 1-2 weeks? 1-3 weeks? <1 week? Same goes for medium and long term too? Throwing darts at a board.

Disagree, the early season factor is quite big. We also get an extra 1.5 days to recover, which should make a big difference especially in the second half.

There's no fatigue early in the season, bodies are still fresh, so recovery is a lot quicker - the shorter breaks only start to impact as the wear and tear of the season progresses. If a 6 day break is going to impact you in round 2 or 3, you've probably got bigger issues

It's been this way for a couple of years now. Not something Meehan has changed. My guess it was Balmey's idea so he could stop saying everyone was "two weeks away" 😂😂

Short term is normally 1-2 weeks, so all those blokes listed as short term are likely to be available next week given they were also listed as short term last week.

Get their early and walk up to the people in the ticket box line at the ground and offer to sell them at a discount. You'll get rid of them pretty quickly. I've done it before.

Dosent really bother me
The weeks mean **** all at the end of the day
The player will be ready when they are ready the main bit of info is if we can select them this week or not and that is covered with the short or long term explanation

AFL website has number of weeks included. And I think Dr Sarah reckons Tarrant and Soldo are close.
Tarrant would be handy. Leave Miller in. In the fwd line

Just as there seems to be some confusion around the terminology I thought I'd take a minute to explain how the injury list is reported:

"Short term" = a short term injury

"Medium term" = a medium term injury and

"Long term" = a long term injury...

I hope that clears everything up.
