Naismith will make 200k+ you can’t turn that down
121 drops out of his rolling average after 1 game, so no
Nope. Three game rolling average.

Naismith is the number one Ruck and as we saw in Round 1, the majority (10) of Ruckman hit the ton with Gawn and Marshall just missing out, but they'll come good. He was in my team at R3 during the preseason and I'm spewing I didn't hold firm. He's a better cash cow than any of the rookies on offer. Remember Marshall last year?

There's also a big chance that as the season progresses games will be played closer together and if that happens we're likely to see Ruckman rested. Naismith is a great backup. I'll opt for a floating donut elsewhere this year.

Like in Defense where there are no options? Haha

Well said. I also advocated for him to be r3 coming into the season but on the last or 2nd last day i made a few changes and dropped him, which i now regret. With the luxury of 5 trades, getting him in is my first priority and i have Brayshaw that i want to drop so i can easily do Brayshaw -> Noble (who was close to making my team anyway) and Conroy -> Naismith.

I hadnt even thought about ruckmen being rested so if you're right about that, Naismith's value goes up even more.

I want Naismith. I'm not sure what the best option is though.

Option 1

Trade Gawn for Naismith, Keep Xerri donut

Option 2

Trade Xerri for Naismith

Option 3

Trade Max King for Naismith, move Xerri to FWD bench as a donut. Will mean only using 1 trade instead of 2 when I cash Naismith in later in the season.

I like option 3. I wouldnt be trading Gawn so i don't rate option 1. Option 2 is good too but i think the donut in the forwards could be useful so option 3 for me.

I like option 3 as well mate, good luck

I'm a bit annoyed the new draw has thrown up a load of stiffs to battle Gawn in the next few weeks. I was a big winner taking Naismith at R2 from the kickoff (Grundy R1) and I feel like my winnings are being eroded by the new trade arrangements and the revised draw. I'd love it if Gawn could spud it for just one more week.

That said, if things go my way, my current plan is to bring in Viney this round and ride him for a few weeks then trade out Naismith and Viney for Gawn and someone else around round 4 or 5. While I won't have Gawn for the next few weeks, I also won't be carrying a potential Naismith ton (and 250k) sitting on the bench at R3 each week which is what others with the G and G double at R1 and 2 will have to do. I'd be ok with Naismith as R3 for perhaps 1 week, which might be necessary to claim most of his price rise while getting Gawn a week earlier when he bottoms out.

After I trade Naismith, Ceglar will be my ruck back up in the Forward line.

Watch out for Big Bustling Bailey Williams..he's close.

Yep was looking at him.

I won't have enough cash.

To go BTZ to Noble plus get NaanSmith for Conroy.

Teams will be interesting for round 2. Esp wookies.

Drop your worst performing mid is a option...
Not that keen on it though.
Rather drop Bezerker for a cheap defender I don't have for some tweaks.
