Win here and we are a chance this year.
Big forwards must stand up for once.
Daniher, McStay and Hipwood must be better than merely contributors.
Perfect opportunity to make a statement today.
Or are we going to start extremely slow as is our way, cautiously go with them for a quarter and a half, concede a run of 5-6 consecutive goals either side of half time to get the crowd right behind them, kick a couple at the end to bring the margin back to 20, and bemoan at the end of the game that our usual passengers are once again passengers?
You know, a typical MCG game for us, or where we have a modicum of pressure applied to us.
Suffice to say, I’m not confident.
I'm pretty pessimistic about our chances today, just don't think we have the gut defensive run to go with the Tigers if they play near their best footy, here's hoping my footy knowledge is at its customary level and I'm dead wrong.
Lllllllllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnssssssssssssss!
Thats how I feel. And it is the Tigers season on the line... The law of averages says you can't throw four games in a row down the drain. Three in a row is unheard of.
Is this where we experiment with absurdist comedy? I'll go first:

It's been done friend. Get your own jokes.
You could look at it the other way too. Once the rot sets in, players start doubting the way they play, kicks missing targets etc. I think we are getting Tigers at the right time compared to them walking in with a couple of wins. Confidence should be pretty low.
Geelong's third quarter yesterday is a good example of how we play when we're on, blink and they were off to the races.
