Yeah the umpires did their best to keep the Hawks in it, they gave a lot of soft free kicks their way while ignoring blatant free kicks for us.

I would have been filthy with the umpiring if we had lost that game but thankfully we were good enough to overcome it.

I can see us getting rorted again next week against Carlton, you just know the umpires will be on the Carlton bandwagon to get them into finals.

Hopefully we are good enough to overcome it again, I reckon we play at our best when the umpires are against us, it fires us up.
Same thing happened earlier this year against them. They would not pay holding the ball. Frustrating!

Caminiti, didn't hurt the guy, but probably gets 1 or 2 games rest.
King straight back in?
Hayes & Membrey probably a long way off, with their performances in the two's.
Hill back for Jones.
Webster got shellacked.

Didn't want to say before the game, but it was obvious the footy public was on the Hawks pre game as an underdog. Yet the saints price came in. Sharps were on the money. Only thing that made me a little confident.

Crouch massive. Sharman was great on Sicily. Someone said hamstring? What's the go?
He seemed to be icing it in the last, not on the side or the centre back, just around a little bit
Hoping he copped a cork

He ain’t getting time off for that he open hand slap to top of the shoulder

We won’t beat our main contenders with only two good quarters, although this win was good. Can’t have the midfield disappearing like they did in the second. Must play consistent footy over four quarters to beat the best.

just checked the ladder, they are 3rd last with 5 wins, kind of are a woodspoon type club at the momement.
A wooden soon type club would be on the bottom of the ladder. That is literally how you win a wooden spoon, not sitting 4 wins in front of the club that does sit there.

4 games clear of the wooden spoon

They have surprised me. Could have quite easily won a few more too if not for a couple of chokes.

North winning that cup at present, 5 goal gap to Eagles is lol for Ratts tenure in coaching. Hawks likely to meet Freo and shake hands at end of season.
