What I want to see

Out: Hickey (inj), Battle (inj), Coffield (managed), Dunstan, Newnes, Lonie, Brown
In: Pierce, Marshall, Paton, Rice, Connellan, Goddard, Phillips

B: Webster, Goddard, Geary
HB: Rice, Carlisle, McKenzie
C: Sinclair, Steele, Freeman
HF: Billings, Marshall, Acres
F: Gresham, Membrey, Connellan

Foll: Pierce, Steven, Ross
Int: Armitage, Clark, Paton, Phillips

Lonie has been one of our best players his last 3 games. Unbelievably harsh.

His numbers have improved in the last two games and I don't actually expect him to get dropped, I just don't think a tiny, slow small forward who can't kick more than 30m or make an effective tackle is ever going to get a game in a decent team and we should stop wasting our time.

You have to watch how many pressure acts he does to rate him. He never stops pressuring and he's started to convert more shots. He's looked very promising the last three weeks and hasn't played 50 games yet.

Paton is debuting this week. Bookmark it #ITK
I've been saying that for weeks, the club has been intimating it for weeks and they've done it again this week - I'm getting seriously p***ed that he hasn't played yet. Stick him on the wing and I reckon he will adapt to AFL level just like Phillips did but with a 70% kicking efficiency.

Enough of the "prospect" - play him!!!!

In The Mix
Ben Paton
has shown plenty of promise for a first-year player, and his ability to play a variety of roles around the ground has the budding utility looming as a long-term prospect for the Saints.

EDIT - just saw the Bushrangers twitter

So apart from HG and RC, everyone else has had a game...

Watching him in the VFL earlier this year, he reminded me a bit of Sincs. Looks very balanced. Hope he goes well.
I have a really good feeling about Paton. Like the fact that he's quick, good skills both sides, can mark and most importantly can win his own ball.

All I hope for on Friday is that he looks comfortable with the pace of the game.

Looks like being a beauty. I know internally he is rated very highly and the club believe they've got a steal from last years draft.

Big stage to make your debut, against Essendon Friday night in a game which you'd expect a response from us in. Let's see what the kids got.

Probably Freeman going by Richo and SL's commentary of his game

I wonder who the out is for Paton? Newnes finally? He only had 9 touches.
oh please god yes. he should be dropped and sent on a soft c**k camp somewhere in the south of NZ after the year he's had. What a joke. No wonder our club is going to the dogs with 'leaders' like that. I hope he shames himself into retirement.
