Round 21 (finals week 1) trades

Awfully quiet... people keeping things under their hats with finals starting?

Got 3 trades left. Not sure whether to "bolster" my side now or wait until prelim week (have Gibbs and Murphy).

Thinking of either doing a double trade by going 2 of Puopolo/Pederson/Jacobs/Buckley to either Fisher, Birchall (although his scoring lately is a worry) or perhaps an ultra unique in Nathan Bock...

Or doing a single trade and ditching Petrie for Luenberger. Petrie is really my 2nd ruck premium whom I can swing forward if needed. But he's missing this week and if I can avoid week 2 of finals, I'm basically only getting 2 games out of him. If I don't get the 'burger, then I play Hale (who's been surprisingly solid of late, and Hawks do play Port this week).

Hard to even contemplate trades this late in the season till you see the teams, you just know there's going to be a number of rests/general soreness players.

Happy to use 1 or both trades. Dawes, Z. Smith, Swallow, Syliva all prime upgrade candidates.

I think I may do one upgrade, probably D. Swallow to Priddis, go risky as I can't afford Swan, and Priddis should score well against easier opponents the next 4 weeks. Or two if Buddy and Dawes both miss this weekend. Would be great to save a trade for next week. Maybe get Petrie or Goldstein or someone for Smith.

Two trades left - got andrew swallow and petrie out this week. thinking of trading out swallow for thompson, priddis or daisy (only have 410k) and then using my last trade on gibbs in rd 23, with the thinking that puopolo can play for heppell in rd 24. really counting on winning this week, as I have three geelong players and not enough trades!

people being rested in rd 23 or 24 will probably kill me...

im a sydney supporter but id go with Leuenburger. a little bit higher average, a grand or so cheaper and he's up against Zac Smith who's getting a bit tired.

Boyd, Swan, Pendles, Mitchell, Ablett, S Thompson (Prestia, Bewick, Jacobs)

Cox, Mumford (Keefe, Tippett)

Goodes, Cloke, Buddy, Sylvia, Petrie, Riewoldt, Mzungu (I Smith, Lynch, C Richardson)

Not sure where to go from here. I could try to upgrade my iffy players (eg upgrade Prestia leaving Mzungu/I Smith as bench cover in midfield and forward line), or I could leave my trades purely for trading out players who have byes, eg Petrie, Gibbs, Heppell.

Any help appreciated!

Nice team. I'd be upgrading your F7 position. I'd be upgrading Prestia to maybe Pav or Fyfe. Definitely keep Mzungu for cover.

Or if you can spare two trades I'd be downgrading Hibberd to someone (Taylor from GC?) and upgrading someone like Bewick, Cam Rich or Lynch to Pav/Fyfe. That way you can get rid of some bench cloggers.
