Hope Jordy is okay, but otherwise what a day! Adams has developed into an incredible player and leader, what a star. Special mention to Mayne who was so reliable, and Maynard who is our defensive rock. It’s amazing to see such previously maligned players do so well.

Langdon had his best game for the club, I thought he was huge on Gray.

Madgen is being exposed at this level much earlier than the club would have planned for.
Had to play on number one forwards at time.
That’s not the way any club wants to blood youngsters. But circumstances dictate.

Obviously, what a great last quarter, but --

-- what an exceptional third quarter!

I know that sounds like a weird statement considering they outscored us in that quarter, but Port put absolutely everything they had into that 20 minutes of football. That was their entire season. Literally every ounce of effort they could muster. That was their absolute pinnacle of effort - and we matched them. We didn't capitalize on our chances, but we saw them coming at us 110%, matched them, steadied, and then got the game back on our terms.

It's no surprise Port had nothing left in that last quarter. They couldn't have played any harder during that third term. And we stood up to their challenge.

Go 'Pies. What a great, great win.
