Was mentioned during the broadcast how the game plan change has suited him.
The way we play now is what they saw in him that could be of benefit.
And it appears that the change has been a godsend for him and us.

Obviously, what a great last quarter, but --

-- what an exceptional third quarter!

I know that sounds like a weird statement considering they outscored us in that quarter, but Port put absolutely everything they had into that 20 minutes of football. That was their entire season. Literally every ounce of effort they could muster. That was their absolute pinnacle of effort - and we matched them. We didn't capitalize on our chances, but we saw them coming at us 110%, matched them, steadied, and then got the game back on our terms.

It's no surprise Port had nothing left in that last quarter. They couldn't have played any harder during that third term. And we stood up to their challenge.

Go 'Pies. What a great, great win.

Dude, that is one of the best posts I’ve seen on this site for 8 years. I genuinely mean that, what a brilliant and thought provoking way of looking at that quarter. Makes me feel very pessimistic about my view on it and I will 100% tomorrow; review that third quarter again with that view.
