Did anyone else see Rayner lash out at Nankervis on the member's wing? Seemed to get him high, my initial thought was there's a week in it.

Cams a good boy so no

Our midfield is a real worry at present imo.

The opposition seem to sweep it away too easily whereas we go backwards from the clearances and grind it out.

No answers because I can't see who else would improve the situation.

Huge turning point in the game was when we were streaming forward and had 2-3 players all on their own out the back 5 or so minutes into the last quarter, at the time we were around 16 points up IIRC, Starc got the ball in space and just had to hit one of our spare players and it was just about game over, he shanked the kick and kicked it down the throat of the only Crows player within 50 meters.

It was a huge momentum shifter, you could feel it at the ground, not long after the Crows kicked a goal and it was game on.

McCluggage was huge for us in his 150th, he managed to get to the drop of the ball all day, intercept at crucial times & a couple of goals as well. Big Joe continues to improve up the ground, an entertaining piece of play was when the ball bounced off his head, he regathered, went the fast break then dished off to Charlie who in turn gave it to one of the boys for a freebie.

Joe and Eric have been pretty reliable since round 3. Its our midfield that has me worried at this stage.

We won it with a few bits of individual brilliance in the first 3 quarters.

We just looked very very tired at the end.

Pointless reading anything in to it at this stage of the year because we have our best team on the park. Or thereabouts.

It's ours to take if we can play a lot better and get ourselves totally motivated.

Ashcroft it turns out has been a big loss and it's unfortunate we don't seem to have anyone to step up and fill that slot.

Opportunity for someone to make themselves a hero in the next 6 weeks.

I think there's room for improvement in other departments as well. Eric's return hasn't been great over the past few weeks after a real hot streak, and it looks like he'll have to step it right up now. Just hoping we can get things right next month tbh.

I can. 😉

I'm wondering what the key to Zorko is for these last few games of his career.

Interestingly he's always played brilliantly in Perth and last week I was thinking he might be back to some form.

That was such a frustrating game.

The umpires were horrendous.

Our midfield isn't clicking.

Rayner ran around anonymous until 3/4 time, apart from some failed fend offs.

Crows players constantly shovelled/threw the ball out of the contest.

And the umpires were really ****ing bad.
