Ross was good for his first game back - 25 disposals, 7 tackles, 5 clearances.

Much closer to his form from the first half of the season. He's no star but he does make a difference to the midfield.

For whatever reason, Crouch wasn't winning his normal amount of the Ball. Ross has never been a reliable contested ball winner, but he's one of the few that can lift if needed.

NAS playing like a 100 game player.

Love that he is being encouraged to take on the difficult kick and run & carry.

Should be a little stronger & heavier next season.

We have got a real good one!

ps NAS and Sincs 60 possessions between them off half back - we want these 2 to have the ball - they can slice teams open.

No Blicsavs and Stanley possibly injured. is Hawkins back? Playing at Marvel. Saturday night.
Best chance we’ve had in a while.
( Since we beat them last year, of course 🤣)

I think we sort of outran them round 9 last year from memory, and i think it was one of Daniel McKenzie's better games.

He's a jet, I feel confident when the ball is in his hands unlike most of our other turnover merchants,

Worked hard got 5 possessions 4 tackles and presented enough to have have had 10+ imo. Robert Harvey looked gassed all the time yet still managed to cover big distances and get to contests. I’ve posted the stats on Clark from 2020 and he was our number 1 for distance covered and compared well with the leaders at other sides.
I've defended him a lot but I think the writing is on the wall with Clark. Gut feel is that Ross doesn't rate him and will be moved on.

I say keep him , offer him what he's worth, if he can do better elsewhere good luck to him, give us a trade.

Jeez that was a good win. I think that's the best we've played all year. The team had a balance to it that we haven't seen for ages. Loved Stocker back in, he is a driving force when we go forward. Loved Cordy, he is seriously just as good as Howard but more composed. Good to see Gresh get some reward, clearly been a frustrating year for him and I think he was a bit lucky today but good to see him contributing.

Owens is so good.

One more win! We can do this!

I guess we will see how 'unreal' my comments are next week. I question whether todays form stacks up against Geelongs game next week, we simply dont have enough players who play with an edge or want it enough. I will be happy to be wrong, but I am still not confident we play finals.
We beat them last year at Marvel

Always think you can read things into the Coach's comments in the presser. Lyon made good mention of Gresh's game and said they had a good relationship. Didn't sound like his papers were stamped. Then again it's largely up to Gresh what he wants to do.
Was watching Gresh after he kicked his goals and missing was his usual going off goal celebrations

He was very subdued

I was at the ground and geez, I wouldn't take too much from our performance, yellow witches hats would have put up more of a fight today. Even the Tigers supporters weren't their usual feral-selves.....I reckon onfield and off, they realise the golden generation is done.

I think we're cooked, the older guys are a bit banged up and the youngsters are running out of gas at the end of a long year. Next week is gonna be super-tough.....

Max's game today was one of the poorest 6 goal games I've ever seen. So many cheap frees off him moaning about minimum contact, if I was a Richmond fan that would be enough to make me hate him for the rest of his career. Shameful truthfully.

But hey we won so play on I suppose

EDIT: Fair do's, watching the replay, Max's first few goals were pretty good, and I just remembered the free kicks not the rest.
