If the Saints lose tonight - which they should - we'll only need 1 more win.

Things go as they should, next week is a dead rubber for us.

The only finishing position is 7th or 8th depending on Carlton.

Finishing 7th or 8th makes no difference.

There's even a scenario where we cannot move from 7th at all (Carlton losing both games).

Don't be surprised at all to see Banks, Brown, Stack, Samson, Aarts, Clarke, RCD, Mansell, Ralphsmith, Biggy, Martyn etc all playing next week.
the reserves will have to win the last round,, which is played 6 hours b4 the bombers game
no way will all thgose players miss the reserves game ,,,

I understand where you're coming from but if we prioritise VFL over AFL then our club is in big trouble.

Imagine playing a full team against the Bombers in a dead rubber and getting 2-3 injuries... It's just not worth the risk leading into an away elimination final.

If saints loose tonight and we win against the Hawks, were a lock for finals
saints win tonight at shitihad nothing surer

bears are weak as piss

Worked for Freo and North (against us).

Health is your greatest strength... Especially with our soft tissue injuries this season.
I agree but dimma doesnt do that shit fakren

The north one against us was before you got a week break between the last game of the year and finals

With that week off now I’m not sure the benefit of two weeks off outweighs the risk of losing form and players coming back rusty

yes but there is a a week off between round 23 and first week of the finals
maybe one or 2 players you might give the extra week off but not 10 or 11
we want both teams in the finals makes it mucg easier if both are in
probably cotch and maybe prestia and jack those 3 might give the extra week off for
'but that would be about it

Rest players against the bummers that could be a 18-20 day break.

Not sure it that’s a fit for all players, only those a bit more sore.

Get there first I guess.

You'd want to be beating Hawthorn and Essendon prior to the finals regardless of IF we have to win one or two.

sydney stack replaces george costanza in the 22 🙏🏻
