the reserves will have to win the last round,, which is played 6 hours b4 the bombers game

I understand where you're coming from but if we prioritise VFL over AFL then our club is in big trouble.
Imagine playing a full team against the Bombers in a dead rubber and getting 2-3 injuries... It's just not worth the risk leading into an away elimination final.
0 chance all those guys play. One or two maybe. You don't flirt with form.
I'll melt if Soldo is named more than I will if Castagna is....

Health is your greatest strength... Especially with our soft tissue injuries this season.
Yeah rest one or two or three who need it, not 11. I don't remember Freo or Norf winning a flag recently....

The north one against us was before you got a week break between the last game of the year and finals
With that week off now I’m not sure the benefit of two weeks off outweighs the risk of losing form and players coming back rusty

yes but there is a a week off between round 23 and first week of the finals
maybe one or 2 players you might give the extra week off but not 10 or 11
we want both teams in the finals makes it mucg easier if both are in
probably cotch and maybe prestia and jack those 3 might give the extra week off for

Rest players against the bummers that could be a 18-20 day break.
Not sure it that’s a fit for all players, only those a bit more sore.
