Just want the boys to finish the season off with a strong showing. Unlikely we will snag a win, but we can hold on to the fact we really should have beat them last time out. Home crowd and home umpiring advantage to get them across the line however

It's been a pleasing season thus far, will probably finish exactly where I thought we would at the start of the year

Dear St Jude, the patron of lost causes.

Way back in 1992 I won a trip to Perth to see the hawks play the eagles. Dont ask me what a Sydney fm station was doing with those tickets.. but off I went. it was one of those days.. smelly weagle fans screaming and carrying on like they were the kings//// Dermie copped it.. incessantly...... and then one of the weagles went for him, he got a free and it was like a gush of fresh air.. the atmosphere changed.. the Hawks were on fire............ we won that game.....

Dear St Jude, do you think you could manage it again for us?

Finals less than an outside chance with multiple games needing to go our way. If we aren't in the 8 at the end of this round it won't be because of anything that does or doesn't happen in this round. It will have been lost far earlier in our season.

That said, it's an absolute testament to the club that we've got ourselves into this position given where we were at on the ladder less than 2 months ago.

West Coast need to win this just as much as us to maximise their own finals chances by securing a home QF and double chance. If we lose, so be it, but I want to see us fight it out to the death.
that loss to norf..................disgraceful..... that is a good place to lay blame

TBH I'd prefer a loss. As I don't think we can win the GF.

And on paper it should be a loss.

But we've been weirdly good since 1991 in winning these games over there when it matters.... as in some would like to make finals.

So not sure.

I'm equal first in my tipping comp.

None of the games are line ball this weekend - they've all got a clear favourite.

For this reason I'm tipping hawks because conservative tipping won't win it for me, and if I won on the back of the Hawks beaten WC in Perth the glory will be next level.

Same here, was thinking of waiting until the very last game. Freo with a caretaker coach and all.
I might change to the hawks

Just the one, I think...Tigers?
Correct Tiges by 36, the other 10 losses by 23 or less. McEvoy getting injured super early and losing Lewis in the 3rd killed our chances off that day. Both teams were well below full strength that day. Expecting a super competitive performance tonight although I have tipped the Weagles.
