At least it's over. What a waste of a season. I hope Lenny just pushes Ratts aside and does it all next year. Not sure Ratts gets through another season unless he can completely reinvent our game plan.

Hopefully we do a mountain of skills training in the off season. Get rid of Rath and bring in a really solid strategist with proven recent form.

For all the talk of how bad we are, we just pushed a top 3 team all the way to the line, in a game they had to win to finish top 4 (was the difference between 3rd and 5th), and they have a grand total of ZERO missing from their best 22.

They were literally full strength.

We on the other hand had all of the following unavailable:

Ryder
Wood
Billings
D-Mac
Coffield
Clark (2nd half)
Webster
Sharman
Battle (last quarter)
Hayes

All 12 of whom were in our senior team the game prior to or while sustaining their current injuries!

Obviously we’ve got plenty to work on, but if we can work out how to put it all together we can play highly competitive footy.

Clear as day hanners deserves another year! Finally figured out his injury, still got tickets, A grade midfielder, give him another bloody year! The hell is wrong with our club

Listening to his retirement media, it sounded like the club forced him to retire, rather than it was his sole decision.

I would have delisted him and told him if he can get through a pre season, then give him a rookie spot for 2023. No loss if he didnt get through. Plus we could recruit against his position if needed.

Any blind freddy can see we’re poorly coached just like the Richo years, have never seen so many players constantly missing targets by hand and foot..

You can blame the players, but think about it when our players gets the ball, if there’s no space around you, no movement in front you, no one leading, the space you want to kick to is flooded with players, and you just spent most of your petrol tickets chasing blokes because your team constantly turns the ball over for fun!!

What chance have you got to execute your skills? Good teams always seem to be able to find space, leading players going forward, we’re complete opposite.. That’s why Ratten has to take the blame.. not the players..

I like it but got to factor in it was a game that didn't matter.

King 1.5 or whatever in the game that mattered and then can't miss in the game that didn't. All between the ears for this group and been saying it for years. Our biggest issue, don't worry about skill or gameplans. They need to get their heads right.

It was a wasted season and the club needs to do a decent overhaul over the next few months.

For all the people that bag the Hannebery trade. It’s games like these that show why we did it. Unfortunately it didn’t work out, but he’s a great player and you can’t blame the club for going for him.
