I think we should all also acknowledge that Marshall and Owens have both significantly improved their set shot goalkicking in the latter half of the year.

Garcia is going to be my favourite player when he starts playing full games. The cleanliness, the chase down, and most of all, after that fantastic kick to Higgins, he celebrated like he just kicked a goal. He's got the right mind set

Wilson ( love it - listen to RTB and do the team things & work on the skills otherwise RTB let this kid chase the ball)
Wilks, NAS, Ro, Steele, Battle (god we will miss you if u go), Jones (probably got yourself another year) - well done guys.

Ps we could be a top 4 team with a couple of dynamic midfielders - centre clearances in the first half were embarrassing!

How fun is footy.
Shows that game plan, senior bodies and culture is sometimes more important than where you are drafted. Paddy Dow showed lots, jones was physically fantastic, that's his role for next 2 years. Enforcer at the coalface.
Steele means so much as a leader to this group. He will shape this club and team.
Our backline is either elite if battle stays or very good if he goes. Howard becoming the player we expected.
Add in some more horsepower in the midfield with stoppers in Stocker and winghager plus pou/henry/pick 5 and this midfield will take shape.
NAS needs to become a forward attacking mid from next year. Needs to also kick goals.
Forwards still need work but it's coming together. Need another small forward imo.

How wrong was I. I suggested Darcy Wilson to be sub to give him a rest. Then the kid goes on and plays a blinder BOG game.
I was also not concerned with winning, but when we hit the lead I was jumping off the couch with excitement.

According to Ro gave them a bake - ocassionally old school still works!
Plus I’m sure a few tactical tweaks - we seemed to move the ball non stop like they did to us in the first half

Adding potentially 2 x top 10 midfielders into this team is going to be bloody awesome to see.
Can I say, watching from overseas the crowd just sounded electric.
I think if we get on a roll in the next couple of seasons, there won't be enough seats on the Saints bandwagon. Our crowds will grow in size, sound and level of rabidness! I think we saw the beginnings of it last year, plus the dormant supporters will emerge from the woodworks all around the Bay... Cannot ****ing wait!
As soon as we make Finals again I'll be flying home for them, open ended ticket!!
