It's not really a dumb move on their behalf. If it is something that works for them, then it works for them.

They were tired in 2012 and we're smashed in the EF. Richmond were probably tired after the 9-game winning streak last year and were smashed by Port Adelaide. North have won something like 7 games in the last 8 games, only going down last week against Bulldogs.

I would advice against it for Richmond, because they are a momentum-based and confidence-based team, but if North feel this is their best option then whatever

We also just won 7 straight to secure our finals spot before we lost the Bulldogs last week.
That's a fair effort and since we can't finish lower than 8th it's a no brainer to rest players.
We don't give a shit about what Adelaide wants and we can do what we like.



If you look at the Bulldogs outs they have rested players as well, every club does it if it suits them.

I think most are now actually looking forward to this game. Dumont, wood, Mckenzie and daw in particular should have got game time throughout the year but haven't. It will be good to see what they can do for a full game against quality opposition.

Couldn't give a shit who Norf rest or play. Hope we beat them tomorrow night and then when they bring in the pensioners next week we beat them again and then we can sit back and laugh at the flogs for thinking they were being smart.
