The assumption here is that norf are manipulating their list to throw a game so they can have a perceived advantage by not travelling to Adelaide or play the Dogs. That isn't managing their list. It's cheating.

I haven't seen any stories so I don't know how true it is...but if it is true then the AFL needs to act on its own rules and come down hard.

I think that is all a bit too anal and uptight. They've made the finals, if they want to flirt with form to try to shape the final 8, then let them. It's not a big deal: it's not worth anyone worrying about- rather it's the opposite- it's all part of the flavour and intrigue of the final round. Its good fun, not a royal commission in-waiting

we would need to beat lol norf by 50 ish or else we will cry tears of sadness

Need to also take into account Sydney's loss of percentage by losing the game so if Suns cause an upset by say 2 goals we have to win by 4-5 goals.

Suns are shit without Jesus

No chance

Step 1) Rest one of our better players.

Step 2) Bring in a hack player that we're about to delist anyway.

Step 3) Offer hack player a bonus $50k on his final pay cheque, and tell him to make sure he knocks out/concusses/incapacitates the following players, in no particular order starting from:

Ben Brown
Jarrod Waite
Ben Brown
Drew Petrie
Brent Harvey
Ben Brown
Benjamin Brown
Lindsay Thomas
Ben Brown

Oh, and please, whatever you do, don't forget Ben Brown.

kgo. :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Choice of wrecking ball Matts - Arnot or Thomas?

Personally, I like the symmetry of Thomas breaking Thomas's ribs.

I'm a 3121 member and as I can't make the game Friday night, I thought I'd offer my card to someone for the night. It seems a waste not to use it and it'd be great for someone who wasn't planning on going. I'm sure I can trust a Richmond person to return my card.
I'm not too up to speed with how things work here, so maybe one of you Mods can let me know if this is OK? I'm also not really up to speed on what a Mod is, but I assume you blokes know what's acceptable and what's not.
Anyway, let me know and we'll take it from there.
Give it to Rod Stroker.Let him see what its like too sit in a big crowd.

Tanking is shocking for the culture of a club.

This is a competitive sport and if north tank it sends a bad message to the players

Imagine what happens to Scott if they lose to us two weeks in a row

North resting players is only one aspect of the game on Friday. The other thing is we get a good look at their game plan against us. Unless they bench that for the week too? If North actually try to win the game with an undermanned side and lose it will surely give our lot confidence that this monkey club can be beaten.

The inclusion of their rested players is just no guarantee it will improve their fortune or advantage. There is a reason why they are 8th on the ladder and it isn't because they have rested their 5 best players for the whole season.

This would be the perfect time to throw off their hold over us and beat them this week and if required the week after too if they are who we end up playing in round 1 of the finals.

There are 3 players in their side that im concerned about.

1. Goldstein (reasons are obvious)
2. Higgins (has had a great year, the type of player who gives us issues)
3. Harvey (always tears us a new one)

Get Hunt to follow Harvey around everywhere (harvey has been playing HFF so it doesnt disrupt our backline much anyway). Get Floss to pay very close attention to Higgins, dont give him any space to operate. Goldstein is the only one who we will find it very hard to combat, Ivan just has to do his best to limit his effective hit outs, and our mids needs to do their best to read the ones he does get.

PM'd you mate. What a great offer, hoping not too late! We're already in those seats but would love to bring one extra tiger

If it was the other way round where we played the dead rubber at the Mcg and the final was Etihad then I think there would be more to be concerned about what each team shows of itself - but we know the real game will be at a venue which we like and they hardly ever play - we should be able to go out and play a normal game this week, and then be confident we can back it up he week after - sure they bring in some new faces but the different venue more than offsets that advantage

Im not 100% certain, but i believe ben brown goes to my university (ought to narrow it down abit lol) for a low low price i'll be willing to go to jail for crippling him
any takers?

Would be willing to give you a large fee

Add Petrie to that list. Always kicks a bag against us.
