And individual notes, good to see Hunter getting into it a bit after being quiet in Q1, couple of slipped tackles need to be cleaned up, opened the corridor for them which is inexcusable, Acres is not quick, less a gazelle more a wounded antelope, forwards working OK, Bruce the initial spark, just need to keep the midfield even, Dunstan needs to lift, too slow mentally.

Acres was pretty good. Hunter looks slow to me.

He's too slow physically as well

Nah, he gets to chains easily enough and right positions, but he takes way too long to do anything, if he was just poor he'd not be getting a game, except he is.

He just does not have the tone of the match thus far, so needs to quicken his processing of what he is actually intending to do.

Acres was pretty good. Hunter looks slow to me.

Acres is doing well, but too often he's half jogging to places, there's no real impetus to impact the situation, if he gets there he gets there, if not, eh it seems. Hunter, did not see him in Q1, coming from VFL not really an issue, but yeah, he's growing into it which is good.

Win or lose from here, this was a team that would have gone into their shells this time last year. To still be in the game after being, what, 5 goals down at one stage is admirable and shows the team is moving in the right direction.

Still plenty of room to improve, but this isn't the same team it was 12 months ago - and that's something that shouldn't be forgotten once we lose a few games.
