Joyce just aint it. Again our midfield just killing us. You just know its going straight back the dogs way every bounce.

We know that. Joyce was a last minute pick up because Adams effectively retired and Gardiner was injured. Not much you can do in those circumstances.

The defence have been pretty good, they are just getting pretty reemed by the umpiring. Its kinda sad how different it seems to be adjudicated at different ends of the ground.

Real problem with a lot of our forwards are just lazy. Don't really get to see it from TV, but so many just don't work hard in defence. Lot of walking around and refusing to follow their man. We really could do with at least one defensive forward. Just to keep the pressure up

You do see it on TV too, which is a bit crazy. A Lions player pressures an opponent who disposes of it, next thing you know the opponent gets the ball back and the Lions player is walking behind him.

People will say Joyce has played like shot. I’d argue the undo have ensured that. He can’t even touch his skinny arse opponent without giving away a free. Will probably play super conservative now. Shame the umps are corrupt.
