Heya, great-grandad…
AgreeSeriously, I don’t care as much about the game outcome as others.
Love to win, won’t be disappointed if we lose.
So far this year, this team has demonstrated commitment.
I am prepared to offer my own irrespective of the outcome.
You see, Saturday is more than just a game.
It is a celebration of our history, the good and the bad.
This Club is so much a part of my life, and my family’s.
I am going.
I am pumped.
I have not felt this way for a decade.
What's the pass mark for crowd total?
For such a big game for us as a club I'm going to say 60k however really hoping for 70k
I've lost IQ points posting over there but they keep responding to me and giving me notifications.DougalHoward has the injectors in a tizz over on their board. With zero effort too I might add. An obvious, but inevitable foreshadowing of Saturday’s training run.
The difference in boards is stark. Finger painting over there while we are reaching Michelangelo levels of insight and post quality.
“Pou is not a midfielder” one rocket surgeon spouted.

We’re dealing with a special conglomerate over at the airport.
I’m usually all for quality over quantity, but in this case they are bringing neither to the table.
Speaking of table, Saints by 10 goals.
Not fair to say that Caminiti burnt him. Naz did as well, by choosing very deliberately to kick it to Caminiti. His attitude seemed really poor. I noticed multiple occasions where he wasn't used, or the kick to him was a bit off and he just dropped his head and seemed to sook it up. Didn't get around Caminiti after slotting his first goal either. Not sure if that was because he burnt him, but still if a kid kicks his first ever goal at a crucial stage you get around him no matter what!
However, Ross has mentioned multiple times now that Butler and Higgins are sacrificing their role to make it easier for the kids, so maybe he and butts are doing exactly what Ross wants from a structure point of view.
It was Gresh who was in the clear & the obvious 'burnee'.Not fair to say that Caminiti burnt him. Naz did as well, by choosing very deliberately to kick it to Caminiti.
Someone mentioned Ross and Windy tandem filling Steele’s role. Ross providing that run, link up work and ability to be all over the ground and windy doing the inside workI was thinking how we replace Steele's influence through the midfield? I don't think one player alone can fill the gap, I believe we are going to have to play both Bytel & Windhager. So who makes way for them, it will have to be one of Butler or Higgins with Bytel & Windhager rotating forward/midfield. Neither small forwards have been in great form and I think Bytel & Windhager can fill the void.
If RTB wants to bring back Webster then perhaps Byrnes get moved as the sub & Paton rotated through the wings.
Probably spending too much time in this thread last night. We've given them too much ammo.
Andrew Basset mentioned it on SEN this morning - says he wishes we were able to decide our own fixture!Wtf is this bloke on about.
‘I think they booked us in for a win’: Bomber Kyle Langford aims to crash Saints party
Essendon sharpshooter Kyle Langford suspects St Kilda thought his team would be easybeats when they booked their 150th anniversary celebrations this weekend. But after two wins on the trot, the Dons are out to ruin the Saints’ party.amp.theage.com.au
Also mentioned we requested collingwood for this game.Andrew Basset mentioned it on SEN this morning - says he wishes we were able to decide our own fixture!
Would have done the previous two years very differently

Classic big club bias. Going under the radar is a good thing. The one thing that the media hasn't picked up on is that teams are moving the ball slowly as they can't find a hole through our zone, we're basically forcing teams in to playing how we want them to play. The pundits just seem to keep going on about how the Dogs and Dockers chose to play slowly, rather than recognising that its a consequence of us having a fantastic defensive structure.Funny how despite handily beating Freo/Dogs (with major outs), many think we haven’t beaten anyone of note.
Yet the bombers get over the Hawks and scrap a win against Gold Coast and all of a sudden they’re finals bound.
I’m not saying I want saints to get more acclaim by any means - we haven’t proven much yet - but it’s funny how these things manifest themselves repeatedly.
Anyway, keep on winning / or losing honourably, and I’ll be happy
Absolutely, and put the rest of the league on notice.
Just hoping Saturday night's game is a good game of football. Have been asked to go but think it's going to be a cold, wet, horrendous s**t show of a game of football especially after Ed Sheerhans concert is more important than the integrity of AFL players health.
Zerk-Thatcher to play on Camminiti, Laverde to play on Phillipou, Redman to bath Jack Higgins if he even gets picked. The coal face will be where it is won or lost and right now Darcy Parish is right up there as one of the best in the league.

I thought the same last year but we were creamed , even a out of form fat Stringer got in the act.Living up here in Qld where the only games live are yesterday’s replays of Brisbane & Gold Coast, I watched a bit of the last half of Suns vs Essendon game.
Seriously & without wearing my St Kilda heart on my sleeve, we will beat them by the length of the Flemington straight.
Ten goals plus, in a real percentage booster.
Put me on an 1890s diet and I might be… less… of a fat bastard too!Your body shape not from that side of the family then….
Na it’s fine. It’s honestly cute you guys are after 70k.I've lost IQ points posting over there but they keep responding to me and giving me notifications.
I don’t care so much about the win in a global sense… but if we’re not going to win the flag, the only particular interest I have each season is beating Injectington and Carlscum.Seriously, I don’t care as much about the game outcome as others.
