Just numb, such was the predictability of that. Grundy was huge but still hits it straight to the opposition a lot. Mayne should not have come back on. Some of these kids HAVE to be better than the bottom 6.

I’m not even angry because we got what we deserved,When you keep playing spuds who are just not any good,and don’t fast track any kids then this is the result that will always happen.Several of our players just aren’t up to A.F.L standard,and I’ll name them.C Brown,worst player I have ever seen,cost is the game with his pathetic kicking.Brother Tyler,not much better.Mayne,past it.Hoskin Elliott does nothing.Thomas good first half,than did his usual disappearing act.Madgen,tries hard,but no A.F.L player.When you’re carrying that many sub standard players,you’re always going to struggle.

Oh,I forgot to mention,one Sidebottom.He’s fast joining that list of sub standard players.Every time he got the ball,he either fumbled,coughed it up,or made a turnover.Just pathetic from a player who is supposed to be one of our most skilled players.

I’m not as gutted as I should be. They are a better side than us pure & simple. A lot went against them during the week with COVID & injuries but they are a far more talented list than ours is & they hung in there & won. We cannot hope to improve while not holding underperforming players to account at selection.
There are players in our team that let us down week in & week out. Especially up forward. Change it up at selection coach. There is nothing to lose because the kids can’t do any worse than the experienced flops that are parading as forwards now.

Proof to me you could have a quadriplegic potato in the ruck and it wouldn't have that big of a difference in the game if no one is catching the taps. I really wish the hitouts won stat was like ice hockey: the hitout is won by the TEAM who comes away with possession. Grundy basically creates a mini secondary ball up between the two midfields

Too many that drift in and out of the game. We're a least one on-baller short. Forward line missed Elliot. Would definitely play McCreery next week as a crumbing forward. If McRae or Murphy show anything in the VFL, one of them at least come in. WHE and C Brown out. Mayne and Thomas keep their places.

I hate to say it but Moore gave Daniher way too much space during the whole night. I said it multiple times. Daniher had 6 shots on goal. That’s a decent effort on the apparent KPD.

De Goey should have done more. He was missing for large large parts of the game.

I love Grundy, but he could be so so much better.

I'm no fan of Mayne, but you can't be seriously having a go at him for deciding to stay in the game when he wasn't concussed. If he had have opted out and not been concussed you'd be calling him weak.

No the doc wanted him off the ground.
The ump refused to give him the ball and Mayne was screaming for it.
It had the hallmark of a player who knew that he cant afford to take too many more hits-----mins later he was downstairs taking the concussion test.
He should have been subbed out of the game and we would have injected a fresh energetic player.
I cant be alone in thinking this was a player who was going in to full self preservation mode knowing his games could well be limited.
